Part 12

I woke up to Natasha rubbing my back.

"Come on Wanda we gotta get up" I opened my eyes slowly squinting at the light to see nat looking down at me. "Good morning sweet girl"

"Morning" I reply as I sit up and run my eyes.

"We have to be on the jet in about an hour so you need to get ready to go" Natasha explained

"Okay" I replied. Nat gave me a small smiled before leaving me to get ready. I walked over to my closet and put on a long sleeved red shirt and a plaid tennis skirt. I then picked up my hairbrush and attempted to get the knots out of my hair, it wasn't working very well. I heard a small chuckle from my door and looked over to see Natasha.

"Want some help?" Nat asked

"Um, okay" I nodded. Nat sat down on my bed and signalled for me to sit on the floor in front of her. I did and she began to brush my hair gently. As she was brushing my hair I began to cry silently letting the tears roll down my cheeks. Nat didn't notice until she felt wetness on her hand. She began to hum the tune of 'miss American pie' as she continued to bush and use her spare hand to rub my shoulder.

"All done" Nat smiled as she got the last Knott out. "You okay now?"

"Yeah, I'm sorry it's just my mom used to brush my hair when I was little" I said as I quickly wiped the tears away.

"Don't apologise Wanda"

"I just miss them so much" I sighed as I leaned into Nat.

"I know honey, believe me I know" Nat gave me a quick hug before standing up "come on let's go get some breakfast"

"Okay" I took Nats hand which she held out for me and followed her into the kitchen. Sam and Steve were sat at the bench chatting while sipping on coffee.

"Morning girls" Steve waved

"Morning" I smiled back and sat down next to Sam while Nat began making some toast.

"So I heard you guys are heading away for the week" Sam said.

"Yeah Clint asked us to go to his farm house"

"That sounds like fun, I wish I could go but me and some of the guys have a mission" Sam sighed.

"Maybe we can go next time" Steve joined the conversation.

"Yeah that would be fun" I agreed.

"Here you go Wanda" Nat pushed a plate of toast towards me.

"Thanks nat" I smiled tucking into my breakfast.

"No problem" nat smiled. Just as we were finishing our food Clint entered the kitchen.

"Morning ladies, are you guys ready to go? Peter and his crew just arrived" Clint asked

"Yup we're ready" Nat smiled "Wanda you go meet Peter I'll grab our bags"

"Okay, are you sure you don't need help?" I asked.

"I'm sure"

"Okay" I said before following Clint out to the jet. When we got there I saw Peter and two other teenagers chatting.

"Wanda!" Peter called me over

"Hey Pete" I waved

"Guys this is Wanda, Wanda these are my friends Ned and MJ" Peter introduced us.

"Hi nice to meet you" I greated them

"Nice to meet you too" Ned replied and held out a hand which I took and he violently shock it making me chuckle.

"Please ignore him, he's a loser" MJ rolled her eyes making me chuckle again. "So you new around here? Peter said you were joking our school"

"Um yeah I actually just moved here from sokovia a few weeks ago" I replied

"Oh my gosh, your the girl that the news is going crazy about" Ned gasped "is it true you have powers strong enough to take down a whole country?"

"I... Um" I started but luckily Nat and Clint walked over

"That's quite enough Ned, remember not everything you read online is true" Clint said catching the end of Ned's question.

"Oh, sorry i didn't want to be rude I just got exited" ned apologised

"It's okay"

"Come on kids lets go have some fun!" Clint smiled excitedly.
