Part 13

"Dad!" A short girl with chestnut hair squealed running over to us, followed by a boy and a woman with a toddler on her hip.

"Lila!" Clint dropped the bag he was holding and opened is arms for her to run into them. "Cooper come here" Clint becomes the other boy over.

"Hi dad" the boy who I assumed was cooper smiled joining the little group hug.

"And there's my beautiful wife and my little prince" Clint kissed the woman on the cheek then took the toddler of her hip and cuddled him

"Daddy" the toddler gave a toothy smile.

"Do I not get a hello?" Natasha said pretending to look hurt

"Auntie Nat!" Lila and cooper shrieked at the same time, running over to her.

"Hey guys" Nat smiled ruffling both their hair causing then to laugh.

"Kids, this is Peter, Ned, MJ and Wanda" Clint pointed over to us and we all gave a small wave.
"Guys these are my kids Nathaniel, cooper and Lila"

"Hi, nice to meet you guys" Lila smiled

"Nice to meet you too" Peter spoke and the rest of us nodded.

"And this is my wife Laura" Clint introduced the woman.

"Hey kiddos, make yourselves at home. If you need anything while your here please feel free to let me know" Laura smiled "anyway please do come in, I'll show you to your rooms"

We followed Laura into the house and she showed us our rooms I was sharing with MJ and Lila while the boys were in another room.

"So me and cooper thought one night we could do a sleepover in the barn, we do it all the time without friends from school and it's so much fun" Lila explained as me and MJ unpacked.

"That sound like so much fun" MJ agreed

"Yeah" I nodded. Suddenly the door burst open making me jump. Cooper walked in

"Guys we're about to do a water fight boys vs girls come on" he yelled then ran off down the hallway

"Come on this is going to be epic" Lila smiled grabbing our hands and dragging us downstairs.
"Auntie Nat, dad come join the water fight" Lila beckoned them over to join the fun, the pair looked at each other.

"Your on" Nat said to Clint

"Oh your about to go down" Clint replied. We all ran outside and grabbed the water guns cooper had filled up for everyone.

The afternoon was filled with laughter and screams of joy as we all sprayed each other with water. Even baby Nate joined in with his dads help. It was the first time I had felt genuinely happy in a long time. The boys ended up winning but it didn't matter because we all had so much fun. At around five o'clock Laura called everyone inside to shower and change for dinner. Once we had dried off we all settled around the dinner table.

"So have you guys had a good time?" Laura asked as she served us our pasta.

"So much fun" Peter exclaimed

"Yes that water fight was great" Ned agreed "mm this food is so good, thanks Laura"

"No problem love, there's some more on the stove if you want seconds" Laura replied as she was helping Nathaniel with his dinner. After dinner we were all exhausted and decided to go up to bed and fell asleep pretty quickly.

I woke in the middle of the night with a small scream, I didn't know what was going on and I felt like I couldn't breathe.

"Wanda, what's going on? are you okay?" Lila asked me sleepily. I don't respond instead I just pulled my knees to my chest and began to sob. "Im gonna go get auntie Nat" Lila jumped out of bed.

A few seconds later Lila came back dragging a sleepy Natasha behind her.

"Wanda what's going on?" Nat asked crouching down beside the mattress I was sharing with MJ (who was somehow still asleep) on the floor. I shrugged in response. I didn't feel like talking. I didn't feel like doing anything. Nat gave me a small smile "how about you come stay with me and let Lila get some more sleep?" She stood up and held out her hand I took it and she lead me to her room.

"I'm sorry nat" I whispered

"You don't need to be sorry Wanda" nat responded "come on let's get some sleep"
