Part 19

When we got to nats bedroom, she lead me over to her bed and helped me lay down. My body was so weak I practically collapsed. I pulled the blankets over me and got comfy while Natasha put on a movie for us to watch,

"Have you seen Divergent?" She asked me and I shook my head in response "we can watch that then" she said more to herself than to me. She pressed play on the movie before she came and sat next to me. I shifted slightly so my head was now on her lap and she softly began to massage my head and rub her hands through my hair.

The movie was good but about halfway through I ended up falling asleep.

When I woke up I was alone. I sat up and slowly rubbed the sleep from my eyes. My head was pounding and I felt tears coming to my eyes, the last few days finally catching up with me. I looked around the room for nat but she was nowhere to be seen so I slowly crept out of bed and downstairs to the living room. Nat was sitting on the couch chatting with some of the other avengers.

"Hey kiddo" tony was the first to notice me causing the others to look in my direction and give soft smiles.

"Hey" I smiled back and went to sit down beside Nat.

"Did you sleep well?" Nat asked softly. I just nodded and leaned into her. "That's good"

"What are you guys doing?" I asked curiously.

"Well we were discussing the annual S.H.I.L.D ball" tony explained.

"What's that?" I questioned.

"It's basically a big party that S.H.E.I.L.D holds each year, it's mostly a publicity thing but it's also a chance to meet the agents we may not work directly with"  Sam explained to me.

"Oh that sounds interesting" I nodded "when is it?"

"It's next week" Sam informed me.

"Oh cool, can I come?"

"Of course your coming Wanda! In fact I think you would be coming even if you didn't want too" Natasha chuckled causing me to smile.

"It's a great event for you kids too! Peter and his crew will be there, Clint's kids will be there, a lot of the junior shield agents in training will be there too" Sam explained.

"It sounds like fun" I smiled

"It will be".

"Guys I made lunch" Steve suddenly poked his head around the corner and I couldn't help but laugh. He had a bright pink apron on with a tall chefs hat and Some sort of sauce was dripping off his chin.

"Steve, I didn't know you were a middle aged woman going through a cooking faze" tony chuckled causing Sam to splutter.

"Ha ha very funny Tony" Steve rolled his eyes and went back to the kitchen to tell Jarvis to tell the others.

We all grabbed seats at the dining table waiting for Steve to surge lunch. It was some weird veggie soup but it tasted pretty good. Once we finished lunch me and Nat went back to her room.

"What shall we do now Wanda?" Nat asked me. I shrugged and flung myself onto the bed and she flopped down next to me. "How are you feeling honey?" Nat asked as she proped her head up into her hand.

"I'm okay I guess" I sighed lifting my head to look at her.

"Are you sure, you can talk to me you know" Nat reached over to grab my hand

"I know" I smiled softly

"Now I wanted to talk to you about something and your probably not going to like it..." Nat began

"What?" I hesitated as I sat up fully.

"I think we should get you a therapist-"

"No" I cut her off

"come one Wanda it would be good for you. I know a great lady who talks to quite a few of the avengers and is used to talking about this kind of trauma" Nat explained "can you at least go to one meeting, if you don't like it you don't have to go again"

"Fine" i grumbled in defeat. Nat reached an arm over to pull me into a hug and I gladly accepted and snuggled into her.

Hey everyone, long time no see (or no write I guess) I think I owe you a bit of an explication as to why I have been gone so long. Recently I attempted to take my own life and was in hospital for a few days, my mental health has been all over the place and writing regularly is not something I am able to do at the moment. Of course I will continue to write my two books and update as much as I can however it probably won't be very frequently. I really hope you guys understand. Sorry this chapter was kinda crap I had writers block bug felt I needed to post something. Thanks for reading and I hope your enjoying the book so far.
