13. 'Cigarette conversation and new friends'

One week later

I have been hospitalized now for a week, seven days. And this hospital is starting to be familiar for me. I have got many new friends at here. And Susan has visited couple times at my room. Now I am finally out of ICU and have normal hospital room. Yippee, Tobias can came to see me whenever he wants, but at night visitors are not allowed. I am not at the eating disorder clinic because they need to threat my lungs before that, but I really do want to get better and get out of this building. 

Now I have been over two weeks without smoking and I do feel that I need the one. Because I notice that I get angrily so quickly and do have horrible headaches so... But because of oxygen treatment I am not allowed to smoke. I am not happy about this fact! Cigarettes do help me to relax so recently I have been so over stressed. 

But one afternoon when I was sitting at the waiting room I met two lovely persons. Hailey and Austin. I was at here waiting that my food bag would get empty so I am able to do also something else that read a books or listen to music. Hailey was also reading a book but she was waiting for those results from her cancer scans for new possible tumors. Yes both of us need the nasal cannula and portable oxygen tank. So basically we are like identical twins. She does have stage two lung cancer. 

Austin is Hailey's boyfriend if you already did not realize that. He does have brown short hair cut. Might be former footballer or something. They are high school seniors, will be graduating at spring. I am so happy for them [actually Hailey is seventeen year old so she does not graduate yet, but Austin does]. I had to forget high school, because I am at the hospital, but Tobias goes the final class, so big graduating party will be at the next summer then <3 If I am able to get out of this place before it. 

So Hailey got those results, no new tumors, lucky her. She may get out of this place before me... Have been at here already three months. She told for me that before getting cancer she was that ultra popular girl at Instagram as well at school. Went to million parties per week and lived like a biggest dream of every american girl. She used to live with her family [mom, dad and little brother Peter]. They do live at the grande house and she used to make those big house parties at their house. Actually I may have been at their house several times, when I used to go the house parties. But I am not sure about it. 

That morning I made the phone call. Tobias was at the school, and answered the phone call. At that moment when I did call for him I just knew that I needed a pack of cigarettes, no matter what. So I asked I he could get me the one... But the situation went so embarrassing quickly, let me tell how the phone call went. And yes He called me by Shailene, although I have multiple times told not to call me by that name.

Me: [calls...]

Tobias: [hang up the call...]

Me: What the hell is wrong with that little piece of shit!!! I JUST WANT THE PACK OF CIGARETTES 

Tobias: Hey it me Tobias, not a little piece of shit...

Me: Oh, I am so sorry, did not meant you, the phone is not working.

Tobias: Oh great... you just embarrassed me front of the whole fucking class, even the teacher is laughing for me!!

Me: Oh, sorry but could you just get the one pack of cigarettes for me, I really need these now??!

Peter: [yells behind Tobias...] Hey Shailene do you have hangover day hah hah??

Me: Well hey you little shithead, I am at the hospital, like you even could drink anything at here!!!

Tobias: Oookay, for everyone's safety I am just quitting the call now...

Me: DO NOT YOU DARE...

Tobias: Shai, I will buy those cigarettes for you, after the school. Please next time if I am at school just text me do not call. Okay? 

Me: At first, don't use that name, second do not use movie quotes, and third thank you, will see you later. 

[phone call is over]

That damn Perer Hayes... wait a minute, the same Peter who is the little brother of Hailey... No way. Like the Peter Hayes, MY former boyfriend!!! I DO HATE HIM SO MUCH! Now I do understand why Hailey hates her brother. 

Dating with Peter was an huge mistake... Luckily the relationship ended after three months but still... Why I was so out of my mind that I did think he is kind. He was all but not kind person, a little piece of shit like I said before. When we 'dated' I was fourteen year old, he cheated me with an another girl and that's how I got depressed.
