"You're leaving?" Hyunjin turned and watched Jisung gather his things.

"Yup, I've got plans." He pulled on a pair of black sweatpants and a simple sweater.

"Oh..." The other man flopped back into bed. He tried to ignore the smell that made him feel secure for some reason.
As he did so, he kept watching Jisung as he stuffed his things into his backpack and even put his socks on the right way.

"I'll walk you to the door," Hyunjin then said. Wearing his bathrobe, he followed behind Jisung as he trudged quickly to the door.
It was uncomfortably quiet while he put on his shoes and zipped up his jacket.

"Do you want me to get you a scarf? It's so cold outside, so you don't-"
Jisung interrupted him. "No, it's fine."

Hyunjin sighed out loud. "Okay..." He opened the door for Jisung. "We'll text later..."

Jisung was already on the first step down when he uttered a "Yeah ok." over his shoulder.
Hyunjin stopped at the door until he could hear the front door slam shut downstairs.

With heavy footsteps, he went back inside his apartment.

The room was anything but neat. The bedspread was completely crumpled and stained; the pillows were scattered all over the room and the lube was lying open on the floor.
Despite this, Hyunjin felt as if the room was much too big for him.

Only now did he realize how a stone settled in his stomach. What had gotten into Jisung? Had he done something wrong?

Hyunjin shook his head and began to strip the bed. Jisung had done nothing wrong.
Hyunjin had expected too much.

He considered tattooing the word "colleagues" on his eyelids so he wouldn't forget. He put the dirty clothes in the washing machine and then cleaned up the rest.

A short time after he finished, the doorbell rang. "Two fried noodles?" Hyunjin nodded to the delivery man and slipped him some money.

"You can keep the rest." The young man beamed at him and handed the food over.
"Thank you sir, have a good night!" With that, he ran back down the stairs.

Hyunjin placed the two cardboard containers on his countertop and eyed them for a moment from across the kitchen.

He had ordered food from the best place he knew before they started.
Because he was aware of how hungry one can get after a Streaming.
Even now his stomach grumbled loudly.

"Aw, screw it." He grabbed both packs and a couple of chopsticks and threw himself on the couch with them.

While "Gossip Girl" played in the background, he stuffed his mouth non-stop.
A pleasant sigh followed after each bite.

Briefly, he stopped and looked at the second, open package of food. "His fault if he's not here..." he muttered to himself and continued eating.

Hyunjin couldn't force the oppressive feeling of disappointment out of his mind, though.

After the door of the high-rise building slammed shut behind him, Jisung exhaled .
At least one thing worked.

He shook himself as a cold breeze rushed past him. With that, he made his way to the nearest streetcar stop. Jisung fumbled apart his headphones on the way, which had come together in a giant knot in his jacket pocket.

It was getting colder the longer he was out. A bunch of other people was waiting with him for the next train.
It was noisy and somehow they had all squeezed into the small metal seats.
