The wedding ceremony was lovely. It still hurt, like a knife piercing my heart repeatedly, but I decided that if dad was happy, then I should be happy for him. I never once let go of Jaspers hand, he was my motivation. The wedding party was on a beach party hut, we all went to have a drink and party. All of Suzy's family were there and a few of my cousins. Then suddenly I hear a deep voice say my name, and my heart almost misses a beat. I turn around to see a distant figure of a tall blonde man.

"Connor!" I pick up my dress and run to Connor, my best friend ever, unfortunately we only met in family parties like these. He was the funniest guy and I just loved him to bits.

I embrace him and he twirls me round and round, seeing as I'm so small he can literally pick me up with his pinky. Since the last time I saw him he's grown even more taller. He has started to get some abs and now has a beard. Definitely an eye catcher. But Connor was the only other person who knew how bad things had gotten when Dad had left. He was the one who told me to be strong. He was the one who actually suggested public school to my mum. He was like my bigger brother.

"How you been girl?"

"Great. I've missed you loads."

"Well, I am a missable person and adored by many of the female population."

"Hmm, and modest too."

"By the way I'm proud of you for being here for your dads wedding. That takes guts."

"Thanks. That means a lot. Anyway, I see you've been working out." I say, raising my eyebrow slightly.

"Yeah, going to the gym almost everyday, it's like my second home now. By the way I'm loving the dress, you look really good."

"Coming from you, that's one of the best compliments ever."

"Well, I'm kind of doubting the choice of footwear."

"What? It's comfortable alright!" I say, looking at him with innocent eyes.

"I want to dance. C'mon, let's show these amateurs how to really party." I let him drag my arm to the dance floor. My eyes are filled to the brim with happiness. I'm dancing properly now and letting go, when I see a glimpse of a very annoyed looking Jasper in the distance.

"I'll just be back." I walk up to Jasper, whose eyes seem to have been filled with rage.

"What's up?" I say stroking his arm.

"Whose that?" He says his eyes accusingly look at Connor.

"Oh, he's just a close friend. Actually one of my best friends."

"Just friends? That's what we started of as aswell." He murmurs

"Jasper, he's like a brother. Why are you so tense for?"

"I feel like punching him, for even touching you."

"Jasper, are you jealous?" I say, the amusement clearly showing in my voice.

"Of course I am. He's spinning you around and dancing with you and you don't expect me to be jealous?" He says, blurting it out loudly. I place both my hand on his face so that he had no choice but to directly look into my eyes. His hands are immediately around my waist. His eyes burning into mine.

"I'm yours, Jasper. You know that. Connor is my friend, plus he's gay." I say, giggling from even the thought of me and Connor. I'd admit though, if Connor wasn't gay, I'd be the first to ask him out, I can see why Jasper was worried. Girls and boys practically bow down to Connor.

Jaspers eyes softens and then looks sheepishly away from my eyes. Relief oozing out from him. Connor walks up to me, with two drinks in his hands.

"You bitch, you left me dancing with uncle nilly willy." I take the drink from him.

"Sorry Mr billy-no-mates who has to hang around with uncle nilly willy for company."

"Ahem." Jasper purposely coughs and looks at me expectantly.

"Oh yeah, Connor, this is my boyfriend Jasper. Jasper this is my Best friend Connor."

"Wow Em, you've caught a good one. I'm Connor, the gay best friend."

I hit Connors arm.

"Hands off my man Connor or I swear I'll hunt you down." Connor chuckles.

"Protective. Slightly over, oh boy, you've got it bad." Connor teases me. I blush.

"Yeah better not hurt her or else I'll be the one hunting down."

"I won't." Jasper say, his eyes gazing intently into my eyes.

"Ok lets get drunk boys." I say trying to break the hold of Jaspers stare. I slip my arms in both of theirs.

"That sounds like a plan." Says Connor.

By the time we reach back to the hotel, I'm very drunk. Mum and the girls left early cause mum was having a migraine, which left Jasper having to drag me all the way back to the hotel. Once we reached into the hotel I pulled him into my room.

"You look hot." I say

"And your adorable when your drunk."

"I bet you'd look hotter without that shirt on."

"Maybe when your in the right state of mind."

"No, I want you shirtless now!" I order

"You don't demand anything from me honey, trust me, that's not how it works." He says leaning closer which makes me catch my breath.

"Ok. Then can I just feel your abs?"

He laughs, like actually full on, tears in your eyes laugh.

I tilt my head." What's so funny?"

"You are sweetness. Now go to bed."

"I won't go to bed unless you sing me a song." I say pouting like a child

"Sing you a song?" He says, arching an eyebrow.

"Yeah, like in the movies."

"Ok, only for you." His eyes soften

"Settle down with me, Cover me up, Cuddle me in
Lie down with me, And hold me in your arms
And your heart's against my chest, your lips pressed to my neck
I'm falling for your eyes, but they don't know me yet
And with a feeling I'll forget, I'm in love now
Kiss me like you wanna be loved
You wanna be loved
You wanna be loved
This feels like falling in love
Falling in love
We're falling in love"

He starts humming the rest of the song, lulling me to sleep. His voice was so pure. It made me fall for him even more. Just before my eyes shut, I could hear the floor board creak, I looked behind me, he was about to leave. I got up and held his hand.

"Don't go. Sleep here with me tonight. " I say, patting on the bed.

He shrugs.

"Your going to kill me tomorrow, but you only live once. Your wish is my command"

He lies down beside me, and I cuddle him. I sleep with my head on his chest listening to his heart beating, it was soothing.
