CHAPTER 3- Squash The Beef

Alex POV:

Dre has been acting weird the last couple of weeks. I ask him all the time what's up and he just responds with I'm fine, or it's nothing, and does that stupid wide grin of his, it's like he's been avoiding talking to me. Like did I do something wrong? Whatever it is it's about to be squashed cause I can't stand to see when something's bothering Dre or when he's upset at me so I've devised a plan to catch him and make him tell me what's really going on. But I don't know when would be the right time.

After Cameron told us about some big party on Saturday, I thought it was the perfect chance to talk with Dre, about the distance he's been placed between us. Now I'm on the topic of the party what am I going to wear. I stormed across my room to the walk-in closet and trailer my eyes all over on the racks to try to spot a perfect fit for the party, after what seemed to be forever I decided to give it a rest and realized I have nothing, I want to wear to the party. And the party is in literally two days. Ahh, I immediately jumped on my bed and grabbed my phone, I texted Lincoln and Toby if they could go with me to the mall, since it was pretty early still, cause we had a half-day to today at school. As I waited for their response I decided to go on Netflix and watch one of my newest shows I've been into "The Girl From Nowhere". About 30 minutes has passed until I heard my phone vibrate near me.





As soon as I read my messages from both Lincoln and Toby I grabbed my phone and laid out an outfit to wear to the mall and a towel from my draw to go into the shower. by the time I got out, it was about 3:30. I rush to put on my outfit, I wore a brown, black, and orange flannel jacket, with grey weather under, black cargo pants, and my black n white Air Jordan 1's. Once I was ready I hit up both lincoln and Toby to tell them I'm ready and for them to meet me at the mall. I rushed down the stairs and thankfully my parents weren't, I grabbed my wallet and keys from the counter and made sure to set the alarm system, and I rang for them to open the gate before I left.

I made it to the mall in less than 30 minutes, I pulled up to a parking space right outside of the mall, as I got out of my car lots of girls started to swarm around me. I mean a lot of guys would love the attention from pretty girls all the time but for me not so much, it gets very repetitive and tiring. I don't like all this unnecessary attention from girls, and I don't want it. I rolled my eyes and preceded to push through with excuse me's and sorry until I reached the entrance of the mall. I walked just a bit and spotted both Lincoln and Toby waiting for me outside of Foot Locker. I waved and gave both of them a hug, and nudged them so we could go into Foot Locker, as we browsed the stores I decided to bring up the whole situation to the guys about Dre. Sooooo, ok cut to the chase we both know you got something to say so spill it " Lincoln cut me off by saying. Well since you asked have yall notice Dre has been acting weird.

"What do you mean weird he's always weird, I mean this is Dre we talking about", ok Toby you got me there but besides that, he's just been avoiding me, and be distant, it's like every time I try to make convo he just brushes me off, "I mean did you say or do something to upset him", That's the thing, Link, I have not done any of that. Don't sweat he's probably just dealing with some things he'll comes around and eventually tells you or us what's up". hmm yeah maybe T.

I ended up getting some mocha Air force jordans retros, black ripped jeans, a white turtle neck, and a new chain. While T and Link just picked up a couple of shirts and new earrings. we ended our day at the mall with some Auntie Anne's, and me dropping both of them home.

Sorry for the short and boring Chapter, I promise the next couple would be more longer and juice.
