Lightwood and Bane family were all in the garden area, enjoying their drinks, laughing, dancing, eating and they played dumb charades and other games.
"you guys are cheating!" Magnus was annoyed by the Lightwood siblings.
"losers always say that" Alec laughed hitting his boyfriend's shoulder with his.
"Magnus Bane never loses anything" he shouted tightly wrapped his arm around his boyfriend's neck while Izzy threw popcorn at him to release her brother and Jace was shouting loser.
Alec was laughing holding Magnus' arm which wrapped around his neck "you lose everything to me".
Magnus released his boyfriend and ignored them and sipped his drink "I only released you because if i kill you, I can't find a quick boyfriend to celebrate this night".
"say what you want, you are lucky my brother fell in love with you easily. He is such a charming man, that you can't find someone like him in your dreams also" Jace said.
"yeah, poor me! blinded in love, can't see who i fallen in love with you, now here iam" Alec pretended to be sad.
Magnus raised his right eyebrow looking at Alec "you are feeling that guilt about falling in love with me, wait until we sleep" he sipped his whole drink and started to fill another.
"why wait until sleep" Jace asked with a questionable look and snatched the vodka bottle from Magnus to fill his glass.
"because Magnus can get our brother without our support, helplessly at bedtime. Did you see hickies on Alec's neck from yesterday" Izzy chuckled, sipping red wine, laying more comfortably on a blanket on the ground.
Alec awkwardly adjusted his collar hiding the hickies.
"your brother is not as innocent as you think. He gave me just as equal I gave him, but mine are visible on his skin. He gave me bruises on my six pack abs, do you want to s…mmmmmm..." Magnus words cut off when Alec put his hand on Magnus mouth to stop him.
"It's going to be twelve soon, come here guys" Mary shouted as she sat on a comfortable sofa with her husband.
Alec stood up and went towards them and sat beside her mom. Izzy and Jace took opposite chairs from Magnus' parents.
"move little bit, move" Magnus asked, pushing his boyfriend to the middle, sat beside and hugged him from behind.
Everyone laughed.
he rubbed his face on Alec's back and whispered "I want to kiss you when the clock ticks to change the year".
"No!" Alec mumbled slowly to Magnus who released a soundful breath and sat straight.
Maryse cleared his throat. "Magnus!" she called looking at him.
"The whiskey bottle is almost finished, do you mind getting us a new one from inside" she asked.
"okay" He stood up.
"wait! only ten minutes left for the new year" Mary said.
"I will be quick mom" he said and walked towards the house.
"Ha! Alec" Maryse tapped her son's shoulder and said "go and help Magnus".
"why!! he will do that" he replied.
"I said go and help him" she said pressing the last word more intentionally.
He was confused and stood up to leave.
"someone is so needy, can't stay away from his boyfriend for two minutes" Jace teased.
"fuck off Jace!!" Alec shouted throwing the cushion on face.
"ALEC!!" His mom looked seriously, he cursed himself and ran quickly.
His feet lost balance when someone pulled him forcefully to the side. "Magnus! what are you doing, we are supposed to go back with a whiskey bottle" Alec shouted.
"you dumby angle, who cares about whiskey when we only left ten minutes for year to change. your mom giving us space, maybe she listened my words" he said pushing Alec to wall at backyard.
"don't assume everything for your convenience" Alec said.
"My convenience!!" Magnus asked and looked at the watch on his hand, there was only four minutes left.
He quickly moved forward and pressed his lips on his boyfriend. His one hand went to grip and pull black hair and the other hand laid on the hip.
Alec parted his lips giving access to Magnus "hmmm! you taste like vodka" he mumbled and kissed again.
"how.do.you.know…. have you.ever.drank.it" Magnus asked in between kisses.
"shut up" Alec said wrapping his arm around Magnus' back and another one on nape holding him close.
Their lips moved so slow but deep, tasting each other's mouth. It's like some beautiful experience and everytime it getting better and strong. It's like those lips were meant to touch each other to feel the tingling sensation and get a little bit of pain with heavenly pleasure.
They both heard the fireworks sound when Alec's lower lip passed through Magnus' mouth and Magnus' upper lip passed through Alec 's mouth.
They both looked up and the sky looked more colorful with the addition of some bright colour lights.
They both looked at each other's eyes. Alec hands gently cupped Magnus cheek "happy new year my love".
Magnus smiled widely and leaned, pressed his lips on Alec's. He again looked into hazel eyes "happy new year my Alexander, it's rare you call me with a polite nickname, iam happy to hear this".
"hey, I always call you with adorable nicknames" Alec said.
"yeah! let's don't talk about those for now" Magnus chuckled.
"you pervert Devil, you don't know the meaning of my words" he said.
"then teach me" Magnus asked capturing Alec's lips.
"Hmmm" Alec pushed Magnus a little bit back and said "as much as I love to continue this, we should go back".
Magnus looked aside annoyingly and gave space between them. He started to walk with Alec beside him.
Alec quickly placed a quick kiss on Magnus cheek and started to run "i Love you, my Devil".
Magnus laughed looking at his boyfriend and shook his head.
