"wait, where are we going. I thought iam supposed to be go home" he asked when he listened Asmodeus instructed driver to take them to other place.

"you are not going home and we are going to another town. I made the decision, that's it. I am doing everything because it will get easier for you when you start working. If your mom is in my position, do you still complaints" Asmodeus asked.

Alec's phone buzzed and he quickly looked down at his phone and accepted the call "hello".

"How's your journey back to home" Magnus asked.

"Iam staying, Magnus. I want to work" he simply said, not giving further details.

"but i decided you will stay with your siblings. so stop doing work and enjoy your holidays, stupid hubby" Magnus said on the phone.

"no, Magnus. I want to do it, so understand" he said.

"Fine, do whatever you want" Magnus hung up the call.

Alec looked at his phone while feeling guilty. He put his headphones on and pressed the play symbol on the song and closed his eyes, leaning back.

Two days passed and it's six o'clock in the evening and Alec was getting ready for a small gathering at a private venue at the hotel they were staying.

He heard a knock on the door and walked towards it and opened. "you look good in a suit Alec. Remember you have to look straight always, no head down, no watching mobile, talk clearly with an authoritative voice. It's important to be good with everyone, so be polite also" Asmodeus said.

Alec just nodded his head and started to walk behind him.

The whole time he just sat there beside Asmodeus while Asmodeus thanked every vendor and gave a humble speech for being part of LB industries.

After that everyone started to drink, eat and talk.

Asmodeus was busy with talking with others while drinking.

Alec just sat there in the same position while looking at his phone disappointedly, hoping Magnus would come online to chat with him, he was texting with his sister while someone stood in front of him and called his name. He looked up and saw a middle aged man who was smiling brightly and it looked unpleasant to him.

"Alec Lightwood, wow! I didn't think I could see you directly. Iam Aaron granter" the man said.

Alec quickly stood up and handshaked "Alec Lightwood, nice to meet you" he smiled simply then he looked at Asmodeus who looked at them at the same time and looked away quickly after that while talking with others.

"you are quite popular, you don't have to introduce yourself. And I can see why they call you heaven of beauty. well, well, well, well…." he looked at Alec from top to bottom "you see more fair than the photo and how can I know if you are a good kisser or not".

Alec clenched his fist while he listened to those words from that man.

"this photo is quite popular in groups" the man showed a screenshot of Alec and Magnus kissing in beach which published through stupid business gossip website.

His mom and Asmodeus take down that article, but he can guess some people still have photos and screenshots about that article.

Alec turned to walk but that man held Alec hand "where do you think you are going, we should talk privately".

Alec felt so angry, he looked at his hand then at the man, his left hand ready to punch this disgusting man but in the narrow of the eye he could see Asmodeus looking at them.
