exhausted, damn she hadn't felt this tired in a hot moment. she still had one more day left of the weekend before she went back to classes. so what to do? usually she would want to ask yeonseo to hang out, but not only did she have to heal, but they were awkward. like extremely awkward, it was like when the two were forced to work with each other at the beginning of their high school years.
it was awkward all over again, and it made her feel sad all over again. the feeling of essentially restarting a long process that she initiated. damn was she stupid, but it wasn't her fault. jolting up, she gasped in shock as she went to go find her phone. turning it on and scrolled to the muted group chat. several messages and pings flooded the chat as she furrowed her eyebrows.
feeling a pang in her heart, she placed a hand over her mouth.

did she seriously leave for that long? abandoned the people who were her home? what happened to her? she let go of a deared friendship but now the people apart of her safe place was going to throw her out because of her own selfish deeds.
she didn't mean to, she swore she didn't. she just couldn't deal with the fact that people could move on so quickly. maybe it was her fault, she was lagged back in time and didn't even care to consider anyone else. she just wanted to feel free, included, to feel in general. it was a bad approach to it, she acknowledges that. but, it still hurt didn't it? god if she could turn back time she would.
maybe things would've been better had she just spoken up, but she didn't. she let herself fall off the grid and let people progressed without her, she was in her limbo. her hell. the world was cruel but actions were crueler. no one told her to do this and yet it seems like her world is ruined.
she could only assume that it was her well deserved karma. the karma that was awaiting her visit, her arrival. and currently, she was at karmas' front door.
