walking aimlessly to her next class, she grinned at her phone like another small teenager attached to their phone. the only difference was that she was an adult going to a full fledge international college. the differences were clear if you put enough thought into it.
bumping into someone in front of her, she widened her eyes immediately. bowing as if it were an instinct, "oh my goodness i'm so sorry" the duo in front of her stood over her like she was fresh bait. since when were people in this school were this terrifying? did she miss her scary era or something what the hell?
"oh my goodness are you cathrine? taehyun talks so much about you-"
"bro shut your fucking mouth i do not."
"do too"
"do not"
oh, maybe it was just their exterior. it was funny that they were bickering but her time was ticking as she remembered the conversation she left hanging."ah, is it okay if we make this encounter quick.. i kinda left my friend hanging in our conversation." she chuckled awkwardly. holding her phone up to the duos' view. their mouths made a small 'o' as they looked at one another. "oh sorry sorry, taehyun's just a really big fan of your programs."
"ugh i said i wasn't that big of a fan-" he rolled his eyes, pushing the blondes' face away from him. giggling, it was nice to see such close friends behave like this. covering a hand over her mouth to stop her laughter. it was cute to say the least, but that wasn't important. "i'm glad you enjoy my programs. a lot of the other people on the team are very preoccupied with izumi and bella"
scratching the back of her neck, she smiled at the two. bowing at them, she felt content meeting such nice people. however, she didn't catch their names, only knowing that the other boy with the blonde was named taehyun. what interesting people.
...
yawning, the class was boring as hell. her patience was running dry as she waited for dismissal like a sitting duck. she clearly showed that she didn't want to be there. recording most of the lecture on her ipad as she took notes down. she loved the innovations of technology only for this one situation.
hearing the call of dismissal from the teacher, she wrapped up her notes and turned off the recorder. stuffing her things messily into her bag to not delay any other students in her row. it was embarrassing struggling in front of people, especially during dismissal.
rushing out the door, she let out a huff of air as she looked around. spotting the long haired boy, her face brightened immediately as she walked over to the unbothered boy. immersed into his phone, she took that as a challenge as she creeped up. grabbing his shoulders she jumped up forcing her weight down on him to keep her suspended in air for a brief second.
seeing him tumble, she laughed at him. watching him glare at her in displeasure. "yohoo rags, were you waiting for me?" she cooed, seeing his face flush at her words. "was not you entitled 2 year old." he scoffed dusting off his clothes like he had gotten even remotely dirty. "lets stop by the dorms." he hummed holding his board securely in his arm.
nodding, she smiled, locking their arms together and skipping like they were in some cartoon or something. it looked weird, and it was weird. cathy, is weird.
...
olling off of the ramp, the wheels of her board skid as she grounded herself. wincing at the sound of her wheels probably getting fucked up. "dude i've been practicing my pop shove it and honestly i'm getting it down for explicitly ignoring it like the plague." the boy smiled skating around and attempting basic flips.
"i heard from a birdie that you guys might be here." both immediately snapping their heads to the voice, they grinned and waves the boy over. the black haired boy simple sat on the concrete, not necessarily interested in skating that afternoon. "don't you have practice?" the girl memorized the hockey practice schedule enough to know that he shouldn't be here right now.
"coach actually switched up the schedule surprisingly. earlier so we have more time for studies or some bullshit." leaning his weight on his arms as he leaned back, he recounted the schedule change with a sigh. "if anything it's more inconvenient for us but, i guess coach is pleased." running his fingers through his hair, he couldn't even begin to express his annoyance.
the younger boy stared at the olders' legs like a challenge, glancing over to the female. she could already see his idea pop up in his small brain and was already showing great signals of not to do it.
"yeonjun sunbae, can you sit still?" confused by his words, he looked over to the disappointed and disapproving female beside him. clearly not impressed by his choices. "i don't think i want to-" seeing the boy leap over with his board across his legs, he couldn't help but hold his breath in confusion.
only continuing to breathe again to yell at the boy. "what the hell is wrong with you?" he shrieked, bringing his legs up to his chest. seeing the male only smirk with peek interest. "cathrine, help me carry him to the center of the ramp, i have an idea." the girl sighed, dropping off her board and started to make arm circles as she prepared herself.
furrowing his eyebrows, he began to get up before being picked up by the arms and his legs being carried by the other. "this is bullying i'm reporting you." he started to squirm, clearly not approving of these actions against him.
hearing the girl whistle and look around as if nothing was happening, he couldn't even begin to describe the betrayal he felt on that very moment. getting dropped on the cold surface of the ramp, he tried to get up only to be held down as the male ran off to get their boards. damn this girl was strong. "don't worry jun, we won't even touch you."
