skating along the side walls of the rink, she prepped her lutz, knowing damn well she was going to trip up on the landing. she just had a feeling it was gonna happen. jumping into the triple lutz, she stumbled and fell backwards. laying as she slightly slid across the ice, she sighed and sat up comfortably. "looks like that hurt." the boy entered the rink and crouched near her. rolling her eyes, she lifted herself off the ice and went to skate off around the sides to attempt the lutz once more.
spinning carefully in her step sequence, she mesmorised herself in the thought of the music choice she picked. she could practically hear every beat and lyric. pulling herself into the triple lutz, she landed it with ease for the first time causing her to freeze up and escape from her own mind. turning to the male who stared with admiration, he clapped with a smile.
"that was sick bubs." he patted her on the back, staring at her like she was the only thing he could see. "did you call me bubs?" she chuckled, taking his hand and interlocking them. "so what if i did." he dragged her along the ice rink. smiling gently, she couldn't help but feel comfortable with all of this. it was so nice to have someone with you when you were alone. someone who was genuinely there.
after a bit of skating and practicing, they settled onto the benches. chugging a quarter of her water bottle, she pulled out her phone from her bag and gasped. "ahh park sunghoon is back in korea, i hope he had a good trip." she cooed, resting her chin on her water bottle as she scrolled down the articles and news of korea's favourite silver medalist. hearing him scoff, she smiled with interest. "imagine if he went to our school once he decides which program to enter. practically every university with a figure skating program wants him."
she gasped, "i could see him in the flesh, every single day." she emphasized, seeing the male beside her turn away in annoyance, unbothered but still peeved. "isn't he so handsome and pretty?" she leaned over to him with a cocky smile. he groaned pushing her face away. "well why don't you just date him then?" he grinded his teeth and looked down on her sending chills down her spine. "well i would but i already have the prettiest and coolest boyfriend." she boosted, continuing and rambling about him like she wasn't talking about another person.
