it was a long week, a very exhausting week. she had enough of it, finally finding an open week where she could just let herself relax. whistling, she walked herself to the convenience store near the outside of campus. smiling at the overworked high schooler, she sauntered over to the fridges with basket in hand, and grabbed just a few cans of beer and a few soju bottles. twisting her id in between her fingers, she hummed placing it in the basket and walking over to the counter.

smiling she took out her credit card and slid the id card across the counter to the worker. walking over to the snack section, she grabbed one of them and handed it to the worker. letting him scan it along with the other drinks. waiting patiently, she hummed and kicked at the ground like it was the ice of the rink. a familiar motion she did when stepping on the ice for the first time.

paying for her things quietly she once again waited, "have a nice day miss." she smiled taking the bag handed to her and carding her id and credit card. nodding and walking out. wandering aimlessly until she stumbled upon the play structure nearby. settling on the benches set up, she popped open a beer and took a sip. the sensation being familiar as she drank. what a sweet burning.

making a satisfied noise, she huffed out and stared over at the sky. it was late and walking home would be a problem. maybe a drinking buddy would be efficient. her tolerance being higher than the sky wouldn't achieve anything. drinking was drinking with nothing but endless sorrow sugarcoated on the outside. you drink to forget, but whats the point of forgetting if you remember eventually. taking another sip, she gulped it down like it was water. alcohol tastes disgusting.

she wouldn't mind drinking quite a bit for the time coming. drink till your sick was her logic, and she quite enjoyed it to be fair.

hearing the ringtone go off, he went to go look for it. flipping under the stack of clothes on his bed, he fished out his phone and picked it up. "cathrine?" waiting for a response of some sort, it was basically like a ghost dial from how silent it was. "cathrine where are you? whats up?" messing up his hair, he went to go find a jacket of some sort in a case of having to find her.

"gyugyu.." she called towards him. her slurred words being enough of an indicator as to the whole situation. "ah, where are you? do i need to put a tracker on you or something? i won't hesitate to download life360 on your phone." he sighed, running his hand down his face with utmost disappointment. "aye, calm down" her native tongue slipped through making him even more disappointed. "now now, hmm ah where am i.. oh thats right! that play ground area thingy. you know?" her switching of languages was making him form a headache. why did she have to know 3 languages of all things?

"you're drunk right?"
"ah no! i'm not drunk what do you mean?" that was one of her drinking habits wasn't it. denial of drunkness made it more obvious. "i'll be there soon okay?" he sighed, hanging up on her and went to go slip on his shoes. where even was the playground? the guys dorms were way far away from the girls dorms. ugh, time to go find her.

after about 14 minutes of walking around, he stumbled upon the what seemed to be the play ground. being extra kdrama styled, he stuffed his hands into the jacket and walked over. comfortable in the hoodie underneath the long trench coat. "cathrine?" he placed his hand on the girls shoulder. noticing the many cans of empty beers and even more bottles of empty soju. what a fucking maniac..

"oh gyu, you're here." her smile was bright and sweet as she turned to the boy. something about the look was even more confusing. "sit downnn, i saved you a bottle because i knew you'd come." she giggled waving a hand for him to sit down. "cathrine please." he sighed, not wanting to fall for her attempts.

"choi beomgyu." his breath hitched with widened eyes. she never called him that, saying it sounded too formal. "aish, sit down." practically obeying like a helpless animal, he watched her open the bottle and hand it to him with a content smile. "drink it." her words were simple commands that made him so uncomfortable. she was younger wasn't she? ah that reminded him of her upcoming birthday. shyly smiling, he took a sip and immediately wanted to stop. the taste of alcohol bringing him bad memories.

giggling, she reached out her arms and pulled him into a one-sided hug. her arms squeezing him comfortably like it was a perfect fit. it made him gulp from the entire thing. the stupid phrase of a drunk mans actions are a sober mans thoughts and it was making him panic mentally. "i really missed you." she muttered, it was strange, his heart seemed like it was about to jump out of his chest from the mere few words. "cathrine you're drunk.." he couldn't even listen to his own words.

looking up to him, she detached herself from him and stared at him with empty eyes. it was like she was trying to hide her own thoughts. standing up, she started to gather her empty cans and bottles into the bag they came in. walking over to the recycle bin, she dropped the bag into the bin and walked back. staring down at him with an empty expression, she tsked and pushed him back with her hand. "what was that for-" pulling on his collar she smashed her lips onto her unwillingly. unprepared for the sudden action, his hands hovered above her, not even attempting to touch her.

staring at her, he couldn't think straight, on one end he could push her away, and the next.. closing his eyes, he pushed his hands against the table to keep them supported. feeling her smile against it, she pulled away with a content and satisfied smile. looking him up and down before tsking. "i hope i don't remember this happened." it was weird that she was drunkly aware of her surroundings all of the same time. "i'm going home." she shrugged, waving her hand and walking off like nothing had happened. it was like everything was brushed off the minute she walked away.
