Avalon didn't think she would be able to get over the awe and wonder she felt everyday after waking up and realising that she was really at Hogwarts. Although Melora seemed to be slowly coming terms with it. But there were more concerning matter the girls needed to discuss. The topic was brought forth by Melora when the two girls were sitting in the library trying to complete their Transfiguration essay.
"Do you think we should disclose the information about Scabbers being Peter Pettigrew to Dumbledore?" asked Melora, frowning a little.
Avalon sighed and put down her quill before looking at her sister, "I've though about it too. But then everything would change. I mean, Peter Pettigrew need to escape so that Voldemort can come back, so that Harry can kill him in the end. As much as I hate all this happening, I don't think we should interfere in it."
"Yeah, and I think even if we try to, I don't we'd be able to change it." said Melora. "Remember what Dumbledore said? There are some events that are fixed, and I think Peter Pettigrew escaping is one of them."
Avalon nodded miserably, and a scowl appeared on her face. "Every time I look at that bloody rat, I have to stop myself from throttling its throat and commit murder."
"Do you think we should approach Sirius?" said Melora lowering her voice.
"You know, I think we should," Avalon said thoughtfully, "But only after we master some defensive spells. Merlin knows what would happen if we go without preparation. I think he would probably get alarmed and try to knock us out -- why're you grinning?"
"You said 'Merlin'." said Melora, grinning widely. "I think we're finally starting to get used to this world."
Avalon laughed, but quieted down when she was sent a sharp look from Madam Pince.
"But seriously, we should start practicing charms and spells before anyone notices how behind we are on wizarding study." said Avalon, quietly.
"We should also add the 'Expecto Patronum' spell in our to do list." said Melora excitedly. "I've always wanted to learn it and now we can finally do it."
"Yeah, we should do that." Avalon nodded before going to back to writing her essay. She dipped her quill in the ink and started writing.
"You know what I miss about our world?" said Melora suddenly.
"Mum and Dad?" said Avalon without looking up.
Melora rolled her eyes, "Of course I miss them. But that's obvious, I wasn't talking about them. I was talking about these bloody quills. I mean it's pretty tiresome writing from them, Pen is way better than this."
"To Pen supremacy!" Avalon clicked her quill with her sister's quill like people did with drinks making Melora laugh.
"You know, I thought you would've already tried to become best friends with Harry, Ron and Hermione." mused Melora.
"Of course I want to be friends with them." Avalon said, in an obvious tone. "But people don't become friends in a day. The three themselves became friends because a troll, so I think it would take time for them to accept us. We're both new, and they wouldn't just let anyone join them."
"I don't think I want to become best of best friends with them, you know." Melora said thoughtfully. "I already know everything about them and what they're going do to and all that. It won't be anything exciting. And moreover they aren't the type of people I like to be friends with."
"Of course, how could I forget?" Avalon rolled her eyes. "You're friends with people who are more outgoing and bold, like Fleur and Ginny."
"I thin Fleur and I would be just great friends." Melora said haughtily.
