Avalon slammed her hands on the table, making the people around her jump slightly. "I have finally realised what I want to become." she announced.

"What, a senile lady with many cats?" said Melora, putting a spoonful of sprouts into her mouth.

She kicked her on the leg from under the table, making Melora hiss in pain. "I," she looked at Harry, Ron, and Hermione. "want to become a singer."

"A singer?" Harry frowned.

"So suddenly?" said Hermione, looking surprised.

"Yes." she nodded enthusiastically. "The Weird Sisters have really inspired me and made me realise my dream. I want to be like them, singing on a stage, with so many audience cheering for me." she sighed dreamily. "I'm going to become a singer!"

"Can you even sing?" said Ron, looking at her doubtfully.

"She can't sing to save her life." Melora told him.

"Shut up." Avalon scowled at her. "I can sing. Actually, I'm a very good singer. Do you want to listen? I can sing for you right now!" she said excitedly.

"Oh, look at the time!" said Harry suddenly, looking at his watch. "We're going to be late for Herbology!"

"Yeah, let's go before Professor Sprout deducts any points for getting late." said Ron, slinging his bag around his shoulder as he stood up.

Avalon frowned and looked at her watch. "Herbology doesn't start for another fifteen minutes!"

"Your watch must be wrong." said Melora, shrugging. The three of them quickly left the table and sprinted out of the great hall.

"These motherfucking bastards." she gritted under her breath, slamming her hand on the table again, this time in fury.

"Avalon!" said Hermione, looking scandalised.

After Rita Skeeter had published that horrible article about Hagrid in the Daily Prophet stating that he was a half-giant, Malfoy and his Slytherin gang had taken every opportunity to gloat at them.

Avalon was so pissed, that she almost broke Malfoy's nose again, but Harry and Ron held her back in time before she could inflict any damage to him.

Even though now that Avalon had come on terms with her feelings regarding Fred, there wasn't any particular change in their relationship. Except that Avalon blushed every time he pat her head or their hands touched accidently. Her feelings were Cho were gone now -- which was definitely a good thing because she didn't want to be a love triangle with Harry even in her nightmares.

She guessed maybe Riddle had take her advice and decided to cast out his parentage. Because lately he was seen a lot more with Melora -- they talked only like friends though. Even though it was apparent to her that they both clearly liked each other, it would still take a lot effort for them to get into a relationship. It definitely won't be easy for Riddle to forget about his father -- especially after he returns.

Harry was still being stubborn. He was refusing to shelve up his pride and use Cedric's advice. Honestly, he relying too much on Avalon, and was quite unconcerned about the egg. Something that Hermione didn't forget to point out every time. Avalon remembered that in the Harry Potter and Goblet of Fire, Harry was full of worries and anxiety. But now her being here, flipped the situation completely.

Hogsmeade visit arrived on Saturday, and the five of them left the castle together. Melora was asked on a date by the Beauxbaton boy she went to the Yule boy with, but she had declined, and so she was here with them.
