Alfie stood from his leather chair, spat into his hand, and offered it to Mr Shelby, who also stood, spat into his own palm, and shook hands with Alfie across the desk.
"Come on Ollie" Alfie called out in a higher pitched, friendly tone, indicating for Ollie to stop watching through the office door and join them.
As Ollie entered the office, so too did the dog, which instantly went to Alfie for attention. He granted the dog a few tickles before approaching Ollie and putting his arm across his brother's shoulders.
"This is my younger brother, Ollie. My trusted right-hand man." Alfie smiled, presenting Ollie to Mr Shelby officially.
"Hello Ollie." greeted Mr Shelby with an upbeat tone while shaking his hand.
"Ollie, would you be so kind and pour us all a whiskey, I have a quick phone call to make?" Alfie requested.
Ollie, looking to Mr Shelby, he extended his arm towards a seating area situated at the back of the office opposite Alfie's desk.
A low, old, and dusty wooden coffee table sat in front of a deep red leather, chesterfield sofa. At one end of the coffee table, along the same wall as the office door, was an old, very warn red armchair.
Bottles and boxes of papers and such were laying around the floor and pushed up around the edges of the room, against whatever piece of old, dusty furniture inhabited the space.
Mr Shelby sat in the armchair as Ollie grabbed some glasses from a nearby desk. Placing them on the coffee table he poured four whiskeys.
"A & M Jewellers, Camden" Alfie mumbled down the phone. "Sarah? Yeah, she there? Nah, just send her down will ya?" he hung up the phone and turned to view his guest.
Ollie had sat himself at the opposite end of the coffee table from Mr Shelby, on a dining chair that tended to float about the room.
"You're not looking too bad, eh Tommy? Considering." Alfie said loudly, crossing his arms and perching on the edge of his desk.
Tommy raised his brow and nodded a few times.
"I heard... they took out a tooth," Alfie noted with a grimace.
"Yea!" Tommy replied gruffly and sharply.
"Tut-tut, nasty business mate."
As they looked at each other across the room, Malka entered carrying a basket in hand and walked over to Alfie.
