"thank you, y/n." yae said, with a low voice. she coughed and opened the plastic bowl.
"did you bring *cough* chopsticks?" yae asked, looking at me with a down expression. "oh." i muttered under my breath.
"no... should i go get some?" i asked, sighing. i swear to god that me becoming a five star michelin made me forgetful.
"if you would like to- *COUGH*." yae smiled, her eyes sparkling as she looked over the gift i had brought. "you sure you can't just sip it up?" i asked.
"good idea." yae said. i was speechless. this was awkward. i quietly left the room and headed back to my house.

i unlocked the front door and slipped inside, where it was warm and cozy. i headed to my room and opened my laptop, and worked on my novel.
a few minutes after i finished the first three paragraphs, julia texted me.

i sighed and placed my phone back on my desk. i continued typing the next chapter, but all i could think about was what yae said.
