"I'll never see you the way others see you, Miko."
"But you do see me the way others see me. Return the favor, Y/N."

After writing a successful novel, Y/N realizes that they're hopelessly in love with Yae Miko. Y/N shoots their...
i started typing, but then i paused. was this relationship truly worth going after?
i mean, probably.
without a second thought, i hit the send button and sighed. how could my life fall apart in days? i felt like i was at my best, and then a god had to ruin it for me.
maybe i was better off without her, anyway.
while my thoughts were swirling around like a tornado in oklahoma, i heard a knock on my front door.
i walked towards it and looked through the peep-hole. there was a dark-skinned girl who had beautiful braids on her hair, who seemed to be aged 16-23. by her side was a tan, black-haired girl who seemed to be in the same age range.
as i opened the door, i heard their conversation.
"are you sure this is their house?"
"angel, yae told us the directions. i'm sure we'll be fine."
"oh, hey!"
the tanned girl spoke, noticing that the door was open. "i am aoi, and this is my best friend, angel!" aoi smiled.
"yae told us to come to your house to discuss what had happened between you two." angel said, keeping a serious tone. i sighed.
"the yae-and-ei incident?" i asked, with a down expression. i was trying to forgive and forget, but these two were not helping. at all.
"we understand if you don't want to hear it. we just wanted to help you. as yae's closest mortal friends, i think we can understand where you're coming from and where she's coming from." angel smiled, turning to leave.
"actually, that might help. come on in!" i smiled.
