you know how i said that life felt balanced? well. long story short. yae is talking to ei again. and ei... is yae's ex.
- a few hours ago -
why isn't she replying to my texts? i thought. i sighed, looking at the small 'delivered' line on the bottom of my chain of texts.
maybe the shrine maidens would know where she would be? i pondered as i stood up from my couch. i took my keys and walked outside, heading towards the shrine.
once i had arrived, i asked the shrine maidens if there were any clues as to where she might be. one had stated "she might be at the plane of euthymia, where ei resides.".

me: lumine can u do me a favor
lumine: what for?
me: go to the plane of euthymia and tell me what's going on in there
lumine: 10,000 mora and i'll do it
me: breakfast, lunch and dinner on me tomorrow?
lumine: ditch the mora. we got a deal Read, 9:25 AM
i smiled and decided to head back home to grab some mora. i was planning on getting a snack, then sitting on my front porch as i waited for lumine to reply with an update.

lumine: yae was there, they seemed to be talking about "becoming friends again".
me: again?
lumine: apparently, yae and ei used to date a long time ago. they have since broke up and rumor has it, ei still loves yae.
me: tell me more
lumine: i think ei said that she still loved yae but she couldn't admit it to herself so she now regrets cheating
me: cheating?
lumine: basically ei cheated on yae and yae found out so then yae broke up with ei. but then ei realized she was still in love with yae so she tried taking her back
lumine: from what i could tell, ei is clinging onto yae but yae is trying to break free. or maybe yae forgave ei and is trying to be on good terms with her Read, 10:02 AM
