i smiled as i looked over the balcony. there was an abundance of people as many were out shopping for their households.
as i admired the view of many sprinting children, and their friends chasing them, i felt my phone vibrate.
probably a notification.
i took it out of my pocket. it was definitely one of my friends texting me.
i was wrong, however.
unknown number: I know it's been a month since all of the drama. Yae has encouraged me to get a phone and start texting people. While I was looking through her contacts, I saw your number labeled as "Ugly Ex.". I suppose your name is truly "Y/N", correct?
unknown number: I am Ei. I am the woman that Yae left you for. But, she broke up with me a few days later. I assume she is still affected from your sudden leave to Liyue. She states that she misses you and she wants you back.
me: if you think you can convince me to go back to that bitch, the answer is no :)
ei: But, why not? She's madly in love with you. She regrets leaving you.
