i sighed as i realized that the popcorn was now finished. what else would i snack on, while binge-watching my favorite shows?
i took some (insert ur favorite chips) out of a cabinet and headed towards the couch. i left my phone on my countertop to show that i wanted to take a break.
i pressed on the remote and started watching "destroying paradise", a show that was about a girl trying to balance her love life. she reminded me of myself, because of the drama these past few days.
i shut my mind off of everything that had happened and focused my attention on the television. although some thoughts still lingered in my brain, it didn't fully affect me.
once i had finished one season, i decided to take a break and make some iced tea.
while the tea was cooling down, i checked my phone and turned off do-not-disturb. i was shocked to see 15 texts from julia, that had been sent 7 minutes ago.
