note: sudden large time skip bc one; this was a random shower thought and two; i was crying to dynamite by bts while writing this bc tae was too hot
i stared out the window after what felt like forever. i finally finished book two of "a deadly romance" and life felt like it was finally balanced.
i observed the many sights outside my window. there were many green trees that stood tall in the blaring sunlight, and there were a few kids chasing each other around, seemingly playing tag.
as for me and yae, we had gotten closer as we had started dating.
life was at balance.

i stood up from my desk and walked outside. it felt nice to feel the warm, summer breeze brush my skin.
the lively snack stands were quite crowded, and the sidewalk was filled with little kids talking as their parents ordered food for them.
the sun was still high in the sky, it's rays glaring down at the people on teyvat.
today is a great summer night. i thought. i decided to play alcohol-free by twice in my airpods, as it gave a great summer vibe.
i sat in my front porch, with my legs on my table as i laid back in my chair.
- a few minutes later -
"hey, y/n!" i heard a familiar voice say. i looked up from my phone to see yae with a nicely-wrapped gift box in her hands. the gift box was wrapped with nice, lace pink ribbon. the gift box itself was a pretty shade of flamingo pink, and there was a little tag hanging from the ribbon that said "from yae ❤️".
"hi!" i said, taking out my left airpod. "is this for me?" i asked, grinning. "of course!" yae responded, handing the gift box to me. she looked eager to see my reaction when i open it, so i carefully untied the ribbon bow. i took off the lid and there was a mini teddy bear inside, with a ribbon heart around his neck.
i smiled. "thanks, yae!"
