A/N: I hope I don't bore you with the stories around it. But for me, they are part of it. And I think as of now, the connections with some of these stories will become clearer as well.

When I woke up this morning, I didn't find Zhan in front of the laptop. He was in my bathroom trying to see himself in the mirror. However, that didn't work. When I asked him why he was trying to, he said, "I was hoping to remember something that way. Besides, I want to see how I look."

"Um okay." I said. I then wanted to send Zhan out of the bathroom so I could shower and get ready for work. But Zhan begged to stay in the bathroom and talk to me. He even promised not to peek.

Somehow I can't deny him a wish and allowed him to stay. I went into my shower cubicle, pulled the curtain closed and took off my clothes. I had to trust him not to use his abilities to just walk through anything. And he didn't betray my trust and dutifully stayed seated on the toilet while he sang me a song that was going through his head.

Since I didn't know the song, I assumed it was either by an unknown artist, or had to be from his private life somehow. In any case, it sounded beautiful as Zhan sang and I really enjoyed listening to him.

At work we did some research on the next building. Again, not an interesting one and not even worth mentioning. I presented everything to my supervisor, he looked at me frowning and asked me if it could be any more boring. I laughed and said, "Hey, you picked those out."

"Yeah, but I'm starting to have doubts. Maybe a documentary about these buildings isn't the right thing after all."

"I might have an idea."

"Okay, and what is it?"

"We have so many vacant houses. And in some of them violent crimes have been committed. We could run something about that, couldn't we?"

"Mhhh, not a bad idea. Viewers love that kind of stuff."

"Yeah right." I was thinking mainly of Zhan and myself, of course. We would have a clear advantage in this. Because that way we would even get paid for it, if we already have to go to these creepy houses.

"You know what? I'll ask the boss what he thinks of the idea. And then I'll let you know right away."

"All right. We'll...I mean I'll wait until then." I replied. I'm getting used to talking about "we" all the time. I should really pay more attention to what I say.

After an hour, my supervisor came up to me and gave me a thumbs up with a grin. He said the boss thinks it's a great idea to make a documentary about the locations of violent crimes. Not ordinary violent crimes, of course. They had to be as violent and emotional as our first story about the poor woman who, out of sheer desperation, stabbed her fiancé to death in the pavilion. Because that story was the first one I suggested to my supervisor, and he was super impressed.

Zhan and I immediately set about gathering all the information and data and then presented it to my supervisor. Since I was already well informed about this case, it went quickly. My supervisor will then just send a camera crew and a moderator to record the episode at the crime scene and interview witnesses and relatives.

My supervisor then gave us another case to take in. It involved a teenage murderer. Zhan was ready to start immediately, so I had to go outside with him very quickly, where he immediately threw himself into the research. But after a few minutes, he looked at me and asked, "You're a journalist, aren't you?"

"Mn. I am."

"Then you shouldn't just sit in front of the computer, should you?"

"No. Why?"
