Brooke pov
Instead of parking at the cave, we parked nearby, where we had a bonfire. Dwayne was getting the fire round and lighting it, Paul tossed beers to everyone, and David smoked a cigarette. I was sitting on the cold sand,

"Want one?" David offered me a cigarette; I took it. "Got a lighter?" He looked through his pocket, pulled out a lighter, and threw it. I flipped it open and lit the cigarette. Marko sat down next to me as I blew out the smoke. "I didn't know you smoke,"

"It's scarce when I smoke; back in Phoenix, I smoke all the time but moving to Santa Carla, I got over it."

"I won't give you so many cigarettes then," David joked; everyone chuckled at the joke, and we cracked open beer cans. "Where's Laddie and star?" David looked over at me. "They are still up at the boardwalk. We pick them up later." I shook my head and smoked my cigarette; I laid my head on Marko's shoulder. The cigarette hung between my lips, and I closed my eyes. The boys talked until Paul commented, "Oh really, Marko, you gonna play risk."

"Oh hell yes," I lifted my head off his shoulder as he stood up and went over to Paul's bike. Let me tell you this Paul's and Marko's bikes are different. We watched him do wheelies and donuts on the sand. He cheered and laughed as he was proving Paul; the brakes locked up as he tried to slow down.

Then, suddenly, the bike stopped, and Marko flew headfirst over the front of the motorbike. We ran over to him as he attempted to get up; he cried out. Dwayne and Paul supported him as we walked back to the cave; as we reached the dark cave, David lit a barrel to have some light; they laid him down on the couch, and Dwayne left to find The medical kit.
