Brooke Pov
It had been a couple of days, and I was sitting on the couch waiting for Marko to pick me up. The noise of a motorbike pulled up; I jumped up from the sofa and put on my shoes. Mom came walking in, "Remember Brooke, I have dinner at Max's tonight." I opened the door, "Yep, bye, love you." I closed the door behind me and ran over to him. Marko got off the bike and helped me on. Before getting out of the driveway, grandpa came driving in like a madman.

Grandpa looked at us and nodded his head; Marko turned on the bike engine, I wrapped my arms around his waist, and we pulled out as we drove to the usual place where the boys parked.

But, instead of parking, the others got on, and we began to drive off the boardwalk; we parked in front of the cave. They got off, and we walked in; David sat in his wheelchair, Paul and Dywaye sat on the fountain's edge, and Marko pulled me down with him and sat on the old couch.

David looked at Marko, who got up and walked to a different cave part. I sat there waiting to return; Marko returned with a wine bottle hand-decorated with various gems and jewels. He handed it to David. David grabbed it and opened the bottle with a dark red thick liquid. David took a sip and closed his eyes as he enjoyed its taste.

He opened up his eyes and looked at me darkly. "Join us, Brooke," he held out the bottle for me. I looked at them and started to chant my name quietly; I looked out of the bottle and then drank.

Cheers and claps echoed through the cave. David took the bottle out of my hand, and Marko came up and kissed me as we pulled away from Paul and patted me on the back. "You're one of us now,"

In the middle of nowhere
I was riding on the back of Marko's bike. We were all going to what looked like a railroad; I had no idea. We all walked along the train tracks. Marko kept me close to him, smiling down at me. It seemed like a nervous smile. "What's going on?" I asked, confused. David chuckled and looked at the rest of the boys. "Brooke wants to know what's going on." The boys chuckled some more.

"Marko? What's going on?" David asked, looking at him; Marko chuckled. "l don't know. What's going on, Paul?" He asked.

Paul chuckled. "Wait a minute, who wants to know?" He wondered; Dwayne ruffled my hair. "Brooke wants to know," Dwayne said. I pushed his hand out of the way, chuckling slightly."l think we should let Brooke know what's going on," David said. Paul chuckled. "Yeah." David looked at Marko and raised his eyebrows.

"Marko," David said expectantly. Marko looked at me and gave me a little wave. "Good night, Brooke. Bombs away!" Marko shouted as he dropped right off the side of the train tracks.

My blood ran cold. There was no way that Marko could have survived that fall. Paul was next. He walked over to the edge. "Bottoms up. Whoa!" Paul shouted as he dropped. What the hell were they doing? Dwayne looked at me, gave me finger guns, then jumped off the railroad tracks; David looked at me. "Come with us, Brooke." He said, then dropped. My breathing picked up. They had all jumped.

Before I could panic and call for help, I heard laughing and cheering. Confused, I looked down underneath the tracks. Relief flooded my system. The boys are holding onto the metal pipes, laughing, and having fun. Paul looked up at me and laughed. "Hey, Brooke!" Paul shouted. "Brooke! Come on down!" David shouted. I hesitated.

"Don't be scared, sweetheart," I heard the familiar voice of Marko. "You're one of us. I promise I'll catch you if you fall."

As carefully as possible, I climbed down and hung next to Marko. The others shouted and cheered for me. Marko smiled at me. "There ya go, love!" Marko shouted. I smiled slightly, blushing a little bit. "Fun, huh?" He asked. I nodded hesitantly; I tried my best not to look down, knowing I would panic. Paul chuckled. "How do you like it?" He asked; I swallowed thickly. "It's alright," I said, making the others laugh. My eyes widened as I heard a train horn blare; This didn't seem so fun anymore.

"Hold on!" David shouted as the train went over the tracks, making everything shake. "Jesus Christ!" I shouted. My bones shook with the force of the train going over the ways; Dwayne looked at me. "Don't be scared!" He called, then let go, falling into the mist below. My eyes widened, "Dwayne! Jesus!" I shouted. My grip was looser, and my arms tired from holding my entire body weight. Marko smiled at me. "Don't be scared, Brookie!" Marko shouted and let go, yelling as he did, possibly falling straight to his death, just like Dwayne had. "Marko!" I cried, tears filling my eyes as I watched my boyfriend fall to his death; Paul followed. "Paul!" I looked up at my arms and whimpered. David looked at me.

"Brooke, you're one of us. Let go!" He shouted. I looked at him. "And do what?!" I demanded. David just smiled. "You are one of us, Brooke," David said. This was all so confusing to me. Why did David keep saying that you were one of them...wait...Am I a vampire?

David then let go, falling as well. "David!" I shouted. You tried to hang on with all my might. Let go, darling. Marko's voice said again. How was I still hearing Marko if he was dead? That was impossible. "If you're too scared, I'll catch you."He said I was breathing heavily. Marko's words seemed to soothe me.

I took a deep breath and let go, giving my arms a break. My stomach flipped as I fell, screaming. I kept my eyes closed, refusing to watch myself die. I felt arms support my back and under my knees as I fell, holding me bridal style. "Open your eyes, honey." I heard Marko say.

This was it, and I had to be dead. There was no way the boys could have survived a fall from that distance, even if there was water below. They would have passed out when they hit the surface because of the drop and drowned. "Darlin', open your eyes. You're safe." Marko said again. I opened my eyes and almost panicked. There were the boys, floating in mid-air. I looked at Marko and saw that he was floating too. I wrapped my arms around his neck.

"What the hell is happening?!" I shouted. Marko chuckled. "I told you I would catch you." He said. I looked at him in shock.
