Brooke Pov
It was sunset; I was scared we had to kill the boys for our protection; I walked around the living room and watched for anything unusual. I had a bow and arrow in hand, breathing heavily.

Any noise made me jump. I stood in front of the fire that we lit; I looked around until a hand covered my mouth; I looked up to the face of the person.

It was Marko; his face was horrific; I screamed and bit his hand, My knees gave out, and I fell. His laugher echo in the quiet house, "Marko, Please," I cried; I didn't want to kill him. My back got closer to the fire; a couple of screams came from upstairs. "Marko, please, you love me." I didn't know why I said that since it didn't work.

I closed my eyes, accepting my death until there was a crash and Nanook had attacked Marko; Nanook was ripping him apart. I watched, shocked, and couldn't stop the dog from killing my boyfriend.

"Nanook!" I called, and the dog came over to me; I crawled over to Marko's body as his jacket was ripped and covered in blood. A couple of patches came off; I picked them up and put them in my pocket. I looked at his body as his breathing was light. Only then it stopped. Tears formed in my eyes, and I laid my head on his bloody chest, wishing I could hear his heartbeat.

I sobbed as I realized I had lost him. I didn't blame Nanook; he protected me from a threat; I looked at Marko's face as it looked younger. I remember all the memories we shared, only now he is dead.

His voice still ran through my ears, footsteps behind me, and I turned to Michael "he's dead." I cried and threw myself in Michael's arms. He soothed my cries, though I pretended It was Marko. I pushed myself off of him, picked up my bow and arrow, and put a stern face on.

"let go find the others." Michael and I walked upstairs to others high fiving each other. "We just killed one of them in the garlic bath." Sam loudly whispered. It broke my heart that we are slowly killing off my best friends.

Tears formed in my waterline, but I held them back. "I'm going back downstairs," I said and walked away when I made it back to Marko's body. I fell to my knees, sobbing and holding onto his shirt, wishing he would be alive. Then there were footsteps, and I looked up to Dwayne.

"it's your fault that he died," he growled and came closer to me. I moved back from Marko's body and aimed my arrow at him. I let go, and his body fell to the ground; I breathed heavily, getting another hand in the bow just in case. After a few minutes of silence, his body jumped up "you missed, girly," he said, then I shot again. This time I got him in the heart.

He screamed as his body fell against the radio, which caused it to have rock music playing as he died; I watched as he passed and fell to the ground "death by the stereo," Sammy commented and finished coming downstairs. I lightly smiled at him and got back onto my feet. I wiped my tears, and Michael came running to us, "go up to my room with the others and don't come down until I say so," he demanded; we shook our heads and ran up to his room where the others were.

Minutes passed; we listened to Michael and David's crashing noises and the screaming; then, all went quiet. We decided to go downstairs. "Micheal!" Star shouted, running towards the room where David's body lay dead. Edger slapped Alan on the back and quietly cheered; Sammy and I were shocked.

"getaway," Micheal sneered at us; we all looked at his voice. His face was in the shadow. Only Star was in front of him. "what's wrong, Mike," I asked with worry in my voice, " I said get away," he said louder; the noise of a car pulling up in a phrase us, I was only worried about Mike. "What's a big deal you destroyed the head vampire? It's all over."

"nothing changed," he said; Star and I agreed as we didn't feel different; Alan looked at Edgar as he was worried, "then there must be one more." He mumbled. Sam's breathing hitched. Outside there was Mom's voice yelling our names. We froze; we didn't know what to tell her, "We're not going to get away with this one," I whispered only so Sammy could hear.
