[Coles POV]

"...Jay??"

I couldn't believe my eyes. It was him. Really him.

"Jay!"

I was so happy I couldn't stop smiling. I finally get to see him again.

"Cole!"

We met halfway to where we were standing from, embracing each other like torn apart lovers. It wouldn't hurt to think of us like that. It's just a thought after all.

"Cole. You're okay. I was so worried about you. I thought I lost you. What were you thinking throwing the game like that. Do you know how scared I was!"

"Jay.. Jay im sorry. I'm so sorry I left you like that. I just couldn't stand the fact we had to fight. And I know if anyone was gonna lose it was gonna be me, because you deserved to go one Jay. At least we're together again though, and I promise I won't leave you this time."

Breaking away from the hug, I hold out my pinkie. Jay holds his out and we lock them together. If he knew me, he knew I wouldn't break a promise.

Leading him to where I was before, he takes a seat upon a crate. As if on que, Karloff begin filling him in on everything's that's happened, and about our plans for escaping. He didn't mention one thing however, and I thought it my have been better to show than tell.

"Oh follow me Jay, I have to show you something."

Grabbing his hand, I carefully lead him through the factory to the far left end.

"Okay, now promise to keep quiet. If the guards find out, we're dead meat."

"I promise, now just show me what it is."

"Okay... 1.... 2.... 3, come in out buddy."

Emerging from behind a few crates, Zane makes him self visible to Jay. Their reactions were something I wish I caught in tape. Zane remained his regular, almost emotionless self, but Jays face covered almost every emotion in one.

"ZAN-"

So much for promising to keep quiet Jay.

Slapping a hand over his mouth, I wait for him to calm down, only to be met with his tongue against the palm of my hand.

Removing it, I quickly wipe it on my clothes before giving Jay a disgusted look. He only laughs in response.

After conversing with Zane for more than half an hour, I decided it was time to go back to "work".

Jay picked up what to do quite quickly, but I told him not to bother. It's not like we get to eat it so why bother making it. That seems unfair.

Something about Jay being here made me miss the others. Lloyd and Garmadon were probably off being the hero's again, but where was Kai?

"Hey Jay? Where's Kai. If the rest of the participants all came together, why isn't he hear."

He stops what he's doing, slowly facing me. This can't be good.

"He uh.. he got taken away by Chen's henchman. No one knows why, but the last I saw of him, he was in chains being dragged down the hall. It's funny, he said he wouldn't leave me, and yet he's gone now."

"It's Kai, just remember he one of the strongest people we know. He'll be fine where ever he is, and he'll come back to you. To us."

I pat the spot next to me on the seat. Jay happily sits next to me. If I'm being honest, it's nice to be around him, especially after being without him for weeks.

Jay's head falls onto my shoulders, my head resting upon his. We sat in a silence we were both comfortable with. His places his hand on top of him, taking in a deep breath.

"Cole, do you really think we will get out of here."

His voice is soft and slightly shakey.

"I want to believe we will, but I don't really know anymore."

"At least I'm here with you."

He interlocks our hands before silence falls upon us again.

I think I'm staring to fall for Jay Walker more and more with every passing minute.

[Lloyds POV]

I've been wandering the jungle for hours in end. After finding Nya, it had just been her, myself and my father.

Chen invaded the island, capturing almost everyone. In happy I escaped otherwise I fear everything would be ruined. I need to help my team, it's my fault we are in this tournament so it's only fair I get us out of here.

As night fell, and I finally reached the tournament grounds, I went over the plans.

"Nya, you and my dad have to hold them off for as long as you can while I try and get the staff off Chen. If I can release all our powers, than maybe the alliance will fix itself and we can get off this island."

[Time skip to later that night]

It's not a very nice feeling, being chained up and kidnapped by a villain, and speaking personally, I've been through that a lot.

But it feels even worse when your own friend, your own teammate betrays you. I never thought Kai was the type to treasure power over his family.

And now, I'm in a basement, alone with Chen, battling for my power.

He's strong, but I'd say stealing powers from other elemental masters and using them as your own isn't a way to win.

After fighting for less than 10 mins, I'm finally defeated. Just my luck.

Kai enters the room, his face is covered in guilt as he looks over in my direction. I can't help but feel bad for him, but I quickly push that feeling away. He helped Chen, he doesn't deserve my feelings.

In a flash of light, it was all over. My powers were gone. Chen had become more powerful than any of us could have known, and I had lost.

As Clouse chanted a spell, I remained on the floor in pure shock.

They had turned into Anacondrai.

This isn't good. This ain't good at all. Considering the only Anacondrai we ever fought was Pythor, and he was difficult to battle. These Anacondrai seemed stronger, more powerful. I fear that Ninjago might finally be concord.

What if I make a playlist based on this book when it's complete. Or maybe seperate playlists based on how I perceive each character from the story?!? Y'all aren't ready for the emo songs I put in there.
