[Kai's POV]
We couldn't do anything but wait for Lloyd to come back. No one knew where he was, and starting a search party wouldn't do any good.
As the team starts to head upto the bounty to sleep, were stopped in our tracks by..
Lloyd?
His completion didn't match the one he had when he left. His once blond hair was now black, and his light green attire was replaced with a darker shade.
Whoever was infront of us was Lloyd, but not the Lloyd we knew.
The wind picked up, a howl like sound coming from its movement. Struggling to hear anything, I look over to the team. Their faint voices all taking about who this guy could possibly be. Jay's voice sticks out from the others.
"Great, this guy has an elemental power and we have nothing."
I pull out my sword, the others drawing their weapons in sync.
Whoever this guy was, his eyes lock onto Zane's shuriken, before turning his head towards the windmill.
"Shurikens, cute. Try this on for size."
He launched the windmill towards us, and that's when it clicked in that whoever we were fighting, was no longer out friend.
"What have you done with Lloyd!"
My voice is breaking. I promised to look after him, but no something's got him, and I can't do anything. This isn't what was supposed to happen.
We give him all an elemental master without powers could, but it was no use. No one could get him. Cole was thrown against the wall, his back injured. Jay tried his best to fight, but he ended up injured too.
It was upto Zane and I.
Zane was the next out of commission. I didn't see what happened to him, but all I remember was everyone making their way to the bounty.
They were leaving the fight. They were leaving Lloyd.
My name was being called out by the team, but I refused to listen. I was going to save him no matter what.
"It doesn't matter how many times you hurt me. I'm not leaving without Lloyd."
"Well then I guess your not leaving."
He launched at me, I guess this was a battle of strength instead of powers, because he wasn't using his.
I managed to grab him. It was in a pretty awkward position, almost like a hug, but not. He didn't struggle, but rather, relax himself.
"Well looky here, you caught me. Oh no."
"Quit the small talk, why Lloyd. Out of everyone to mess around with, why him."
"You don't get it, I was supposed to be the Green Ninja. And now I'm dead and it's all Wu's fault."
I let him go for a second, he wasn't running, but just standing there. It was like, for a split second, he wasn't the bad guy.
"So I need this boys body to help me. I'm sure you understand the feeling of wanting to be as loved as the green ninja. To be told you're good enough, just to have it all taken away."
I'm now held in the same position I had him in. His grip on me tightening every second.
"I get it. I do. But I need my friend back."
I break free from his hold, the guy in front of me falling to his knees.
His breath becomes heavy as a familiar voice comes out of his mouth.
