[Jays POV]
The team remained in silence as we made our way back to the bounty.
No one knew what to say.
I mean, Cole was a ghost, and that was the last thing we needed.
I let Kai and Zane walk up ahead as I lingered back, waiting for Cole to catch up.
His head hung towards the ground, his hands tucked into his pockets. I couldn't image what he must be feeling right now.
When I finally come into his eyesight, his head flings up, his eyes meeting mine.
They were emotionless, and it didn't matter if I was there. For once, he wasn't happy to see me.
We walked side by side, neither of us saying a word.
I think we were debating what to say, considering we'd look over at each other, mouths slightly parted, as if speaking without the audio.
Reaching our new home, the team split us, with Kai making his way to the training deck, Zane to the lounge room, and Cole to his bedroom.
I wait a few minutes, deciding whether I should go see him or not.
I decided to make my way to his room.
As I'm about to knock on the door, I see it's already open. I instead knock on the frame
There's no response, so I enter the room, peering my head in to see where he is.
Scanning the room, my eyes finally fine him, sitting in the chair in the corner, beside his desk.
His heads faced towards the window, looking out into the cloudy evening sky.
He looked beautiful, even if he was a ghost.
I place myself on his bed, the impact of me hitting his mattress made his aware of my presence.
He smiles.
"Hey Bluebell, to what do I owe the pleasure of your visit."
He was staying strong, even if he wasn't.
"Just thought I'd stop by.."
My voice begins to soften, and I think Come is catching on.
"I'm okay.. really."
I meet his eyes, his tone softening.
"....Cole.."
"Seriously Jay...I just can't use my powers... and I can't hold anything.. or do anything for that matter.."
He begins to grow frustrated, but calms down as soon as he seems me begin to become upset.
"But I'm still a ninja, and I still have you, and that's all I think I need."
He makes his way over to his bed, sitting next to me.
"Do you think you could close the door for me, I can't really do anything right now."
He holds up his hands, to which I give a small chuckle in return as I complete his request.
I take a seat next to Cole, who's now lying down, his arms covering his eyes.
I can hear the team members calling my name, apparently we were having a meeting. It didn't matter, Cole was more important.
I lay next to him, pulling up his blanket as I get comfortable, positioning my body next to his.
He was still a ghost, but I figured it wouldn't be the worst idea to hold his hand, so that's what I did.
And to my surprise, my hand didn't go though his, but was sitting in top, his hand gaining some sort of physical form.
