❝ SONGS NOT INCLUDED ON ALBUMS ❞

So this chapter will just be a quick look at some Gummibär songs that you may not know about or could be classed as more obscure as they do not feature on any albums. I'm just gonna be discussing them and what I think should happen with them in the future.

In my opinion, I think all of the following songs could be put together on an album, but I'm not sure if there's enough or if that's ever going to happen anyways!

They will also be ranked in worst to best in my opinion.

10. Turkey Dance

This song was released in November 2020 for Thanksgiving and is also an altered version of Gummy's music video for Chicken Dance he released for Easter. I think it's a funky tune, but the lyrics can become a extremely repetitive. I think it could be featured as a random Thanksgiving song on a general album, but if Gummy ever creates an album specifically for holiday themed songs one day, go ahead!

9. Play in a Band

This song is more obscure as it can only be found on one of Gummy's other channels "Gummy Academy". The song was originally included in the Gummy Bear Megamix 2020 released in June 2020 and the music video was released in October of the same year. I think the tune, lyrics, and music video are all adorable and I enjoy watching the new animation style. I did think this would be on the Gummy Bear Album 2020 since Bangaman was officially released about a week before and made it on the track list. It could be featured on a general album, but a specifically educational album would be perfect!

8. Booty Twerk

Probably the most obscure song featured on this list. I have researched this song quite a bit to understand its origin, and I have gathered that it originally had a music video quite a few years ago which was removed from YouTube (because it's literally about Gummy twerking!) However, it was re-uploaded onto Gummy's other channel "Gummy Radio" in 2014. I think the lyrics are funny and the beat is chill yet groovy, and it could feature on a general album (unless it's still classed as too inappropriate!)

7. I'm Green (I'm Blue Remake)

Although this is technically the same as I'm Blue (except for Gummy saying "green" rather than "blue", making more sense) which already features on "I Am Your Gummy Bear (2007)", I class it as a different song that should have more credit and feature somewhere as well as a music video.

6. The Gummy Bear Song (Tropical Party Club Mix)

"The Gummy Bear Song" itself has had so many remixes since its full release in 2007, all of which (as far as I know) have featured in an album somewhere. Apart from the "Tropical Party Club Mix" - the music video was released in May 2019 and an audio version was released in June 2021. This is definitely one of my favourite remixes for the song, and again I think it could feature as a summer special in a general album or a holiday themed album.

5. Kick the Ball

Also in June 2021, Gummy released what appeared to be a remake of "Go For The Goal" with similar animation but a completely different song! It was released as a celebration for the 2020 UEFA European Football Championship, and I think it's a song that could feature on a general album like Go For The Goal did in "Party Pop", but I have to say I much prefer this song!

4. In the Summertime

To celebrate summer in August 2021, Gummy released a cover of "In the Summertime" over a year since its anonymous appearance in the Gummy Bear Megamix 2020. At first, I wasn't sure since I had become so used to hearing the sped up version and the original is much slower, but I now love this version as well as the incredible music video! Again, this could join all of these other songs in a general album or a summer special with "Tropical Party Club Mix".

3. I Love You (I Am Bear Valentine's Mix)

Released in February 2020 for Valentine's Day, "I Am Bear" received an amazing remix/alternate version to celebrate. I love the power of Gummy's voice and the passion in the song and it certainly deserves more credit! I think this could feature on a general album, but could also be a Valentine's special.

2. I Am A Wellerman (The Wellerman Song)

To leap onto the TikTok trend train, Gummy released a cover of "the Wellerman song" in April 2021, and a fantastic pirate themed music video was released roughly a month after. I love this cover and remake of the song and I can't see why it won't feature on an album some time in the future!

1. Jerusalema

And at number one, Gummy's cover of "Jerusalema" from June 2021 when he completed the Jerusalema challenge. I absolutely love this song, just anyway, but Gummy's cover cannot be beaten. I feel like he is really into it and passionate, bringing more emotion to the already tear jerking track. This MUST be included in an album in the future, preferably the same as "The Wellerman Song", or I am going on strike LOL 😂
