The clock on Sarv's nightstand read 2:13 AM. I inhaled and exhaled shakily. I wasn't able to fall asleep, so I opted to just sit on the ground, on my phone. Sooner than later, my phone died. Luckily, there was an outlet right next to the dresser Sarv had given me, so I plugged the device in, and rested it on the top of the dresser.

Now, I was cuddled up, holding my knees close to my chest. The room was freezing. The sleeping bag didn't help, since its material made it colder, and there was only one layer. I currently had on a pair of sweat pants, and a T-shirt, which weren't helping either.

I frowned, my lips quivering. The cold air seemed to only linger around me, because I had gotten up to use the restroom earlier. I tucked my face in between my knees, and held it there. My breathes slowed, and my eyes felt heavy. But I couldn't sleep.

The cold was nipping at my arms, and it distracted me from trying to get comfortable. I couldn't sit still in a singular stop for too long, or I'd feel like I was freezing. I bit the inside of my cheek, and grabbed the sleeping bag. I held onto its cold material tight, hoping it would warm up eventually.

I felt a tingle in my nose, and my eyes squinted subconsciously. My mouth opened a little to let out two short exhales, and then I sneezed into my knees. It was a quiet noise, but loud enough to wake either of the sleeping giants before me. I shivered, and looked up slowly to see if I woke either of them.

Sarv staying completely still, as if the sneeze didn't happen, but Ruv on the other hand, was awoken much easier. He lifted his head off of his pillow, and peered down at me with half shut eyes. He frowned, and threw the covers off of himself.

I heard a small thud from Ruv, and he walked around the bed over to me. He planted himself right in front of me. He looked over to the clock, reading it, and then back over to me. He examined the state I was in. Tried and cold. He furrowed his eye brows.

"What're you doing up so early?" I looked up to him. I was about to speak, but we both heard Sarv rustle in the bed. Ruv hesitantly looked over to Sarv, and I repeated his actions. She laid in the bed like a rock, and she spoke in her sleep. The word's weren't understandable, just gibberish. Ruv turned back to look at me.

"Oh. I couldn't sleep." I looked down at the sleeping bag, and held onto it tighter. I heard Ruv sigh, and could basically see the disappointed and annoyed look on his face. Instead, I looked up to see Ruv in deep thought.

Ruv's POV:

This Y/N person seemed trust worthy, but just in case, I wasn't going to give in that early. I could give Y/N a blanket, or let them sleep with Sarv. They seemed to trust Sarv, and I wouldn't have to touch them. My least and final option that I wanted to stay away from was letting them sleep on my side of the bed.

Firstly, them sleeping on the floor or just with a blanket wouldn't do. They could get a cold from how chilly this room was. Sarv liked it cold because of her nature. Since she was a demon, and demons come from hell, they're naturally temperature wise hot. I learned this accidentally when I turned up the thermostat one time.

Secondly, Sarv would be disappointed and annoyed with me. Y/N was new to the church, and she would be a bit upset if they got sick, or were in bad condition the first day. Sarv really needed an extra pair of hands, even if they were as small as Y/N's.

I felt something grab onto my shirt. I looked down, and Y/N had stood up. They still clung to the sleeping bag, like a child with its toy. They were slightly shaking, which wasn't too good, but at least they weren't aggressively shaking.

I placed my hand on their forehead, and they jumped backwards a bit. My hand compared to their face was massive, and it was kinda funny. I of course couldn't show my enjoyment in their reaction and the size comparison. Having face muscles that don't work correctly can be disappointing sometimes.
