After yesterday, and the fact that all of the damage to the church had disappeared quicker than it came, I tried to just relax. Sarv even urged us all to relax for the day, and pull ourselves together after what had happened.
Ruv had forced both me and Sarv to relax more than him however. He seemed to always be looking out for others, even if I had only known him for a few days. Every time Sarv would try to get up for convince Ruv to relax, he would shut her up with something sweet.
Ruv did however allow me to get up twice. Once to grab more sweets for Sarv, and once for the bathroom. Sarv and I were getting bored of just sitting on the couch, eating sweets, and watching TV. Well, Sarv wasn't tired of the second bit, but I was.
I furrowed my eyebrows, right as Ruv walked into the room. He raised one of his own brows, and stopped what he was doing. "What now?" Ruv's voice was raspy, and it scratched, since he hadn't talked in a while.
He groaned, and waited for my response. "Just bored of relaxing. I know it sounds stupid, but honestly. Do you have to keep the two of us here the whole day? You need to relax yourself.." The last part of my sentence was quieter than the rest, and I didn't sound too confident in it. I looked down to my feet, and I heard Ruv sigh.
I lifted my head barely, and his own shoes came into view. "Fine." Was all he said. I heard Sarv squeal, and Ruv sat down on the couch between me and Sarv. He scooted closer to Sarv, which was understandable.
Sarv held up a candy, and popped it into her mouth. Ruv's face held light disgust, and he turned to me. "Do you still want candy?" He looked down at me. I nodded, and he stayed still for a moment.
I mouthed the word 'oh' and stood up. Ruv nodded, and scooted to the side where I was previously sitting. I took my seat once again, but in between Ruv and Sarv, so I could still have candy. Not a lot of people I knew would turn down candy in any instance.
I reached into the bag, and grabbed a few. Sarv said something, but it was all muffled by the candy in her mouth. Mid-way through her sentence, she started to laugh, realizing that she couldn't speak. I started to laugh as well.
I popped a candy into my mouth, still laughing, and Sarv trying to collect herself back together. I chewed on the soft chocolate. I heard Ruv huff, but it was an annoyed huff. He was enjoying our happiness. I turned to him, and he looked down at me, still with no smile. It creeped me out why he never smiled, but he must have had a valid reason.
I turned back to Sarv, and watched her continued to shove more candy into her mouth. I snatched the bag away from her, and held it behind me. "Sarv! You're going to die from these if you're not careful." I laughed, and so did Sarv. I turned around to Ruv, who had gripped the bag. He had a surprised look on his face.
"No- Not actually!" I giggled. Ruv immediately let go of the bag, and sighed. He looked down at his hands, and I turned away from him. Sarv leaned closer to me, moving my hair from my ear so she could whisper something to me.
"He's never had sweet things. He's never liked them, and doesn't plan to. He's a very simple and boring man." Sarv chuckled at the end of her little secret with me. I frowned, and gave the bag back to Sarv. No wonder he was so surprised when I said that. At least Sarv knew it was a joke.
For the next few hours, we continued to watch whatever was on TV, switching movies every so often. Sarv had begged me and Ruv to watch things on Disney, because "the movies bring back so much nostalgia" she said. True, they did, but there were newer movies, and those were the only ones we watched.
We had watched many movies, and Sarv had fallen asleep during a newer movie called "Encancto". I hadn't bothered paying too much attention to the movie itself, because of something else. Before the movie, Ruv had also fallen asleep. After all, it was now 2 in the morning.
