"Uh- well-" Ruv sighed, cutting me off. He sat up, and looked away from me, down at the pen on his chest. His eyes were sunken, and he was clearly annoyed. Maybe I shouldn't of tried to cure my boredom.
"I had gotten bored, so I wanted to see just how much I could do." I responded quickly. I felt like I had spoke too fast though. I stared at Ruv, who proceeded to stand up, and hold the pen out in front of himself.
"I'm not trusting you with a pen around me. Ever again." He joked. I felt like if I was some other person, he would have gotten angrier, and lightly scolded me. My idea was dumb, sure. But, it caused no harm.
Ruv walked out of the room, and into the kitchen. I think Sarv had left an extra sandwich on the counter, with a label, reading Ruv's name. I wasn't completely sure though. I waited on the couch, turning back to the TV. F/S was still on.
Ruv came back into the living room moments later, making me turn my attention to him. "Where's Sarv"? He sat back down on the couch, looking at the TV.
"Oh! She told me she went out to do some 'good deeds' and recruit people for the church." I responded honestly, and a little too cheerfully. Ruv nodded, and made a 'hm' noise in response. A random thought then hit me.
Ruv had been extremely nice to me. From what I could see from Ruv's shell, he didn't seem like the person to easily trust others, and hides himself from the world. Even so, he has opened up a bit with me. I'm curious as to why though.
I let my head fall, and it hung there for a few seconds, before I realized my position. I frantically pulled my head back up, exiting my thoughts. Ruv was staring at me, with a brow raised. I waved my hands, signaling there was nothing to worry about. He turned away from me, and his emotionless expression was back.
He didn't look half bad from a side profile. His jawline was strong, and his entire face was relaxed. His eye told a whole 'nother story though. He seemed interested with the show that was on TV, which was good. It was my favorite after all.
I placed my hand over my chin and mouth, and felt my face start to heat up a bit. I'd only been living with the two for a few days, and I might have been staring at Ruv for a little too long. I turned away from Ruv, and back to the TV. Though the thoughts of how perfect Ruv seemed flooded my mind.
I could basically feel the blush on my face. I inhaled and exhaled quietly, making sure Ruv wasn't able to hear my distress. I leaned my arm on the armrest, with my face still cuffed into it, trying to look natural.
I quickly calmed down, both because of me trying to calm myself down, and the TV taking my thoughts away from the Ruv subject. I sat up straight, knowing that I had calmed down now. Only then did I remember that I needed to let Sarv know Ruv was awake.
I fumbled to get my phone out of my pocket, and Ruv peaked over at me out of the corner of his eye. I struggled to get to the messages app, but once I did, I quickly sent Sarv a message, letting her know Ruv was awake.
I placed my phone on the side table next to my side of the couch, and slumped back into the couch a bit, relaxing. I honestly just wanted to relax right now, and get my mind off of Ruv, who still somehow was plaguing my mind.
I wiped my face, and then sighed. I stood up, and walked around the couch. Ruv paid no attention to me, and just continued to watch the show, with interest. The episode he was watching was almost over, thankfully it'd just play the next one right away.
I exited the living room, and rushed to the bathroom. I shut the door behind me as I entered, and locked it. I leaned against the door, and shut my eyes. I opened them just as quickly as I had closed them, and walked to the sink. I turned on the cold water, and splashed it in my face.
