Sarvente continued to kindly talk to the two short humans that walked into the church. They didn't seem to care much for what she was saying, and I frowned. Sarv had done so much for me, even though she barely knew me. Only if others could see that.
Ruv continued to stay leaned against a pillar, hiding in the darkness of its shadow. The only part of him that was visible was his eyes from how far away I was. The white glow illuminated his face, and a scowl occupied his face. He clearly didn't like the two.
"Aw!" Sarvente broke through my thoughts. I looked over to her, and the two were still standing, with their eerily happy expressions. The short blue haired boy spotted me, and his small dark eyes stared into my E/C orbs. The eye contact sent a shiver up my spine.
"Oh. Y/N. Why don't you come over here?" Sarvente gave me a welcoming smile. I saw the brown haired girl's face fill with annoyance. I tried to ignore her expression to the best of my abilities, and walked over to the group, standing as straight as possible next to Sarv.
"Xml, GF, meet Y/N!" Sarv's cheery voice echoed in the church. Her voice resembled a light organ. The noise would have been hypnotizing if it was heard for a longer time. I subconsciously smiled, and looked down to the two.
"Thank you for the introductions Sarvente, but we just need to use the bathroom." GF's voice held annoyance, and she sighed after speaking. Sarv's brows furrowed, and she seemed genuinely offended.
"Fine. If you won't join the church, I'll give you a reason!" The threat didn't sound as threatening as it was intended to be, until Sarv's left hand held a microphone. The boyfriend held out his own microphone he continued to carry. GF walked a bit away from the two, and hopped onto a speaker that manifested out of thin air.
The whole situation was confusing, and it made me wonder if the two were even human at that point. I held a surprised expression on my face, and darted my gaze from Sarv, to GF, to Xml, and to Ruv. It was hard to grasp onto exactly what was currently happening. All I could understand was that Sarv was angry.
Sarv started off singing a melodic and high pitched rhythm. With every note, it was visible that she was calm, and was enjoying herself. Throughout the entire song, me and Ruv stared either captivated or seriously at Sarv. She seemed to have forgotten about the previous argument completely, until the song ended.
The song ended, and Sarv let out an angry huff. She furrowed her eyebrows, and gripped onto the microphone with more strength. She grit her teeth, but then quickly took a few deep breathes, trying to calm herself. It only worked a bit, before she started to sing again.
The organ sound reappeared throughout both songs, but this time around, it was lower, and held a unbearable amount of annoyance and anger. Sarv seemed to be singing quicker, and Xml seemed to have a little bit more trouble repeating the rhythm.
GF swayed her head to the beat. Sarv and Xml continued to have their singing battle. Ruv had caught my attention instead though. I would have expected him to be looking at either Xml, or Sarv. Instead, he was staring right into my eyes. The sudden eye contact made my lips curl back in a bit of fear and uneasiness.
I quickly tore my gaze away from him. I stayed standing next to the speaker, until I let myself fall behind it. I held my face, realizing how warm it had become. While I stared at Ruv, another feeling was present, but I wasn't able to recognize it. It was too small, and seemed to just have showed up. I felt a bit sick in the stomach.
Sarv's and Xml's voices stopping caught my attention quickly. I looked out from behind the speakers, and saw dust falling from the ceiling. A small rock hit me on the head, and I looked up above me. I heard Sarv gasp, and GF screamed. The ceiling was falling.
