Time tells all.
Time heals nothing.
Though you learn with time, it's your greatest enemy against progress.
Time divides.
Time ruins.
Time degrades.
But time...well...nothing defies it.
Those that do still see the unfortunate effect of time on those closest to them. They carry the weight on their shoulders. Those that bear it without breaking learn the one thing about time that most of us can't seem to grasp.
Time itself is beauty.
You don't love something because you expect it to live forever.
You don't put value on things that last.
You don't assume something lasts because you put effort into it. You truly never expect the risk to be worth the reward given after.
But in some spaces,
In some small instances, you find growth.
You find peace.
You find the wind blowing just right, taking you back to a time when fear didn't exist, tragedy didn't roam free, and the monsters stayed locked in the closet far beneath your crippling doubt.
This time, however long it lasted, will not be the death of you.
Move on.
Give yourself the pleasure of letting the past remain just that.
The past.
One moment couldn't define the last,
but the next could define the rest of your life.
