  Cathrina Rosewood POV

            I ran.

I don't know why, but I ran. I ran as soon as I knew and felt like no one could see me anymore. I didn't know where I was going. I just, ran.

The moon was as bright as the sun. I sat under the big tree near the meadow. What did I just do? Why did I ran? Weird. But, I don't know. I-I just felt a part of me feel guilty of Carina's mother and her death. But...why? I mean, why should I feel guilty? Why-?

         "Hello."

A voice startled me. I jumped from the grass and turned to look. A boy was towering over me. Not just any boy. It was none other than whom Senora Madrigal introduced me to. Camilo Madrigal.

I straighten my pace and cleared my throat. "O-Oh, um. H-Hello."

What the hell? Why did I just stammered?

Camilo sat down beside me and smiled apologetically. "Sorry, didn't mean to startle you. I was just wondering where you've gone to."

"O-Oh. Well, I just needed some fresh air." I said. What-?! I could feel my cheeks burning. Cathrina, S.T.O.P blushing! You just met this boy! Your only 14! I yelled at myself.

"Really? Is that why you ran?"

I snapped my head on Camilo. He gave me a warm smile. Gosh! Why is he so cute?!

"I-I ran because- Yes, because I needed fresh air." I lied. That wasn't the truth. In Encanto everything is fresh. I think even people's armpits' here are fresh even in super hot days.

       "I didn't know Carina has a sister."

           "We're only half-sisters." I stiffened. "We're only sisters from our father's blood."

"Yeah, I heard. So, Carina, is she married yet?" Camilo asked.

I turned to him and his face reddened.

"She is. She already has a son too." I replied coolly.

Camilo grinned. "About time. I thought she'd be old by the time she would have at least one child."

That's when I nearly choked on the air. I hated to admit it, but, Camilo Madrigal has humor!

Then my face darkened. "S-She didn't want to have a child." I said quietly. "She became pregnant out of wedlock. She was forced to marry the King of Valkyrie and forced to bore him a son. That's how royalty custodies usually work. Marry someone your parents choose for you, bore him or her a child, and fake a smile."

"That's harsh." Camilo commented. That's when I looked at him again. But not with disbelief this time, but with awe.

"It really is." I laugh. "But, that's what keeps royal blood royal, you see. Marry someone royal, give him or her a royal child, your child marries someone royal, child, marry, and so on."

"Are you betrothed to someone yet?"

Camilo's sudden question turned me red. I mean, COME ON! Dude, I'm only 14 years old!

"No," I looked to him like he was out of his mind. "I'm only 14 years old."

And even though with the dim atmosphere, I could see his red face.

"I'm going to head back." I finally stated. "I think I breathed enough fresh air now to keep me alive for a thousand years." I grinned at Camilo and he smirked.

We both headed back towards Casita and just about time too. Carina was just bidding the Madrigals good-bye. I rushed up to her with Camilo. Then I realized.

"Sorry about dinner, Mirabel." I apologized to the green-glasses girl. "I'll see you tomorrow, m'kay?"

"Yeah!" Mirabel grinned widely. "See you!"

I turned to Camilo as I followed my sister down the hill. "Bye mi principe!" I waved him bye and laughed when his face turned red. How cute
