~3rd POV~
"No mama! It's fine I'll manage!" A 13 year old Sana pushed away a small lunch container.
"You will be hungry! You're still growing you need the food." Her mom pushed it into her hands once again.
"No! You have to work overtime today you need it more than me." Sana shoved the container into her hand and quickly ran out the door.
Although there was only a small portion of rice with a single sausage and half a boiled egg in the container, it was crucial for Sana's family.
Her parents had just paid $25 for a school trip which was about 3 days worth of lunch and dinner for her family. Of course, Sana felt guilty and tried to contribute less to save more for her mom and dad. Luckily for her, she managed to dig up $4 on by secretly working at a convenience store.
The Minatozaki household was plagued with financial difficulties but the family loved each other so much that it was bearable.
But then one day, something had changed.
"Meet Mr. Chikage Shimamura." Sana's parents introduced her to a nice looking guy who had on a fancy suit and seemed to be in his mid-late 20s.
"Hello Miss Sana. I hope to become well acquainted with your parents and you." He smiled at her and shook her hand.
"Hello sir," Sana smiled back at him and turned to her parents, "what's going on?"
"Honey don't you worry anymore, we have great news!" Sana's dad excitedly said to Sana.
"What's going on?" Sana squinted her eyes at her parents.
"Well I just got a raise at work thanks to Mr. Shimamura!" Her dad exclaimed meanwhile her mom had small tears from excitement.
"Are you serious?" Sana's eyes widened as she tried to hide her smile.
"Of course my love," Sana's dad rubbed her head.
"Miss Sana, I heard about your family's situation and I thought it was in my best ability to give your father a raise." The young man smiled and stirred his drink.
Unfortunately, Sana would later learn that her parents did not receive money from a job raise or from the lottery and bingo.
But for 2 years, the Minatozkai's were at an all time high. Sana didn't bother to question the truth about her parents sudden wealth, she was just glad that her family was in a better situation. However, during this time she did become closer to Mr. Shimamura.

"$1500? By tomorrow?"
Sana heard her father on the phone. Recently, Sana noticed the change in the household. They didn't each as fancily as they once did, but it was still better than their original meals. She also noticed that her dad was on the phone more often, while Mr. Shimamura spent more time with her.
"Sana come hop in the car." The young man pulled up to her school in his nice car.
"Umm..." Sana hesitated a bit. Although he tried his best to get friendlier with her, she still felt a bit uncomfortable around him. He had an unnerving perfect smile. A bit too perfect to Sana.
"Come on its fine, your dad was the one who told me to get you." He sensed that she was hesitant around him still.
Sana got in the passenger seat and stared foreword as he turned the radio down.
"So Sana I hear that your 15th birthday is coming up soon~" he sung out to her as they drove away from school.
"Oh yeah, mom and dad will take me out to eat." Sana smiled at the thought of eating with her parents.
"That won't be possible I fear." He made one of his uncanny smiles again.
"Sir what are you talking-,"
"Please call me Chikage for now on."
The two sat in silence for a few seconds.
"Okay Chikage, what are you talking about?" Sana narrowed her eyes a bit.
"Your parents will be busy, so I'll take you somewhere." Chikage stared at her as he drove past her house.
"No I'll be fine," Sana placed her hand on the door and faced her knees opposite of the man, "we drove past my house sir."
"Don't worry miss, I have a surprise for you anyways." He ignored the fact that they were way past Sana's house and started to hum a song.
"Haha...ha...ha." Sana trailed off and contemplated on just jumping out of the car. They finally made it to a stop light. She inched closer towards the door and had her hand on the handle.
"What are you doing?" Chikage scared Sana which caused her to open the door and tumble out.
"SANA!" She heard him yell, as she quickly rebounded and ran her way home. She had no clue if he was following her, but she continued to run.
"Lord." Sana huffed as she finally made it home and locked the door behind her.
Is that man fucking crazy? Yeah she might be overreacting, but something about that conversation just caused her to feel icky.
She waited until her parents came home so she could tell them everything. Her parents luckily believed her and decided to take her to and from school.
"Why don't you take a warm shower okay? I'll make you soup." Her mom smiled and pushed her way. As her mom pushed her, the sleeve lifted up revealing a large bruise.
What the hell? Sana would ask her mom about her the bruise once she got out of the shower. She might've fell at work or so.
As Sana got done, she heard a phone call while brushing her hair. Of course, being as nosy as she is, decided to listen to the convo.
"You said nothing about paying you back!" She heard her father raise her voice.
...
"I know I know. We're trying our best to pay you back."
...
"Are you fucking CRAZY?"
...
"No you can't have my goddamn daughter!"
