~3rd POV~
"Cmon babe have another drink!" An older man pestered y/n at the bar. Officer Y/n Kawahara, frowned and continued to sip on her water. One drink from a stranger was enough. It was company night at the bar and majority of her coworkers were drunk. She usually hung out with her coworker, Mike young, but unfortunately he wasn't here and he usually protected her.

"Y/nnnn it's rude to refuse a drink from a nice man!" Her coworker, Diana Lake told her. Y/n rolled her eyes as Diana was as drunk as a skunk and she always sided with men. The older man slid a drink towards Y/n but she refused.

"No thanks, but please leave me alone from now on." Y/n said before she left to another table. She heard the man call her a bitch but she didn't care as long as she got away from him. She sat at a table with another group of colleagues and thought about a case that she received.

It was about a man who would tamper drinks and then kidnap his victims. He was called the LA tamperer. There was barely information and it made her irritated. There was 10 girls gone missing so far. All victims were young women, had blunt trauma to the back of the head, signs of drugs in the system, bern sexually assaulted and had a heavy intake of alcohol. In frustration, y/n lit up a cigarette and sipped on her water

"Daijōbudesuka?" She heard a sweet voice and turned to see a girl, Minatozaki Sana, standing over her shoulder. She had long black hair with sparse bangs. She stuck out as she wore a purple striped dress and black boots. A fellow Japanese huh? Her face looked a little familiar but y/n couldn't put her finger on it.

"Watashi wa daijōbu. It's just work." Y/n replied as she continued to smoke. Sana took it from y/n's hand and gave a puff and gave it back to her. What the hell, now her lip germs are on it.

"Ya know I can relieve you off that stress..." Sana said quietly and place her hand on y/n's shoulder. Sana was intrigued by y/n, noticing how she had a Brooklyn accent compared to everyone's LA accent. I know these type of girls, Y/n thought. She smiled at the girl before pulling her hand off her shoulder.

"No thanks not interested." Y/n smiled. It's not like she's ugly. Sana looked at y/n blankly before huffing and going away.

Ugh what's her problem? Sana thought as she left y/n. She had barely made enough money over the past few days. Sana looked around the bar and found her next target. It was an older man who she could tell that he a lot of money. Sana had seen him before with a girl around her age. Sana smirked and snuck her way over there and sat beside him.

"Why helllloooooo youuuunnng ladddyyy." Hé slurred and elongated his words. He was as drunk as could be and Sana scrunched her nose.

"Hello there sir, care to buy me a drink? I ran out of money." Sana said as she scooted closer to the man. He blushed before getting out his wallet.

"Anything for l-l-lady..." he mumbled and paid for her drink. He even bought her multiple drinks. She sipped on it as her rambled to her. Apparently he was tired of his "nagging wife" and he wanted someone younger. Sana smiled as she listened to his bullshit. She couldn't care less but she needed the money. She eyed him and his keychain as she stirred the drink with her index finger which was painted pink.

"Do you hang out hotel nowwwww." He slurred as he grabbed Sana's thigh. She gave a slick smile before kissing him on the cheek. She wasn't the slightest drunk but pretended to be a little tipsy.

"Don't keep me waiting..." she said seductively and he led her outside. Y/n watched from a far and shook her head before heading out of the bar and start walking. Sana noticed y/n leave with 2 people before going back to the older man. He led her to the back of an alley where his car was.
