Chapter 8- Well this is awkward

~Y/n's POV~
I stared awkwardly as Sana stared at Momo with eagle eyes, while Momo stared like this 👁👄👁.

"Ah hello my name is Hirai Momo nice to meet you." Momo stuck her hand out for Sana to shake. Sana gave a wide grin before shaking her hand.

"Hi my name is Minatozaki Sana! Nice to meet you too." She said in a high tone while gripping Momo's hand tightly. I seen Momo tried to pull her hand away but Sana kept it in a tight grip.

"Aha ha wow you're so strong." Momo said and finally Sana released her hand.

"Well y/n I'll see you later at work." Sana said in a sweet tone but had a murderous glare in her eyes. She flipped her hair and walked away.

"Haha well... let's finish shopping." I smiled and finished shopping with Momo.

"So where do you work?" Momo asked me as I loaded the groceries in my car's trunks.

"Ah I work at the LAPD with Sana." I said as I shut my trunk.

"Ah ok I'll see you later! Bye!" Momo hugged me and left. I felt my face heat up. Hehehe

January 25th 1990
"Y/nnnn someone is here to see you!" I heard David yell.

How the hell would see me?

I walked from my desk to see Momo standing there and chatting with David.

"Y/n! It's totally been like ages since I saw you!" She gave a big smile and my face heated up. Momo gave me a big hug and I hugged her back. I seen Sana walk by and she gave a sour expression.

"Ugh gag me with a spoon." Sana sounded jealous and Momo stared at her.

"Hey whats your damage?" Momo asked Sana who looked shocked that she actually said something back.

"Yeah take a chill pill you're ruining the vibe." David interrupted and he made the tension go up by ten fold. I stood there awkwardly in the middle while Momo and Sana gave each other deep stares.

"Anyways why don't we go to the movies? We could go see back to the future II or the little mermaid!" Momo turned from Sana and sounded excited.

"Yeah it depends for you. We can go Saturday." I smiled. Would this be a date? If so, this is the first date I had since highschool!

"No one is going anywhere we have a new case." Mike interrupted and slapped a fat case on the desk.

Aaaaaaah come on!!!!!!!!!!

"Seriously? What is it this time?" I asked and Mike took a deep sigh

"Someone was found dead at the LA jazzercise studio. 2 are missing." Mike said in a solemn tone gathering everyone's attention

"Are you serious? I go there every Friday! That could've been me!" Momo said and looked a bit shaken up.

"Wait are you a professional dancer?" Mike asked Momo and she nodded her head

"Yeah I teach at the contemporary dance studio Monday and Tuesday, I go to the hip hop studio Wednesday, ballet on Thursday and jazzercise on Friday!" She said and had a slight quiver in her voice.

"Wait... we could use you for our case! Since you visit dance studios a lot you can help us and we can protect you!" Mike said to Momo and she nodded her head.

"Are you sure you can do this?" I asked Momo and she nodded

"Anything to save my friends and protect myself." She said and I gave her a hug.

"As of right now you are a temporary member of our time." Mike said to Momo and gave her a fist bump.

"Whaaaaaaaaat? That's not fair!" I heard Sana whine and we all turned to look at her. She huffed before storming off.

"I-I should go after her..." I tried to follow her but David stopped me.

"No no I got it." He held me back and chased after Sana.

This is gonna be interesting...
