Naruto Uzumaki

Two years have passed since the war. We are now in an era of peace. No wars, no unnecessary battles happening, and all the five great villages living in harmony as one. The Blank Period, as some people might call it.

But, even after those years, the conversation I had with Sasuke and the Sage of Six Paths have not left my mind for a second. Although I wasn't exactly scared about it, I was still very much in need of answers to that talk. However, there was one question that had been answered.

The sage talked about some 'unfinished business' between Sasuke and I. I think he'd realized that Sasuke wasn't actually back with us at that time. He knew that Sasuke was still in hopes of 'revolution', as he called it, and that him and I would have to battle it out; a battle between ideologies.

That battle ended with neither of us losing, in my opinion. I was able to convince Sasuke to realize his wrong intentions, and Sasuke acknowledged it. I saw him finally changing his ways and now knowing what is right and wrong and how he was so blinded by revenge that he didn't care about anything else.

Long story short, I'm happy for my friend.

The battle ended with the both of us losing our dominant hands due to do the final clash. Thankfully, I was able to gain back an arm using The First Hokage's cells that Granny Tsunade gave me. But, Sasuke insisted on not getting one and he went away from the village quite soon after. He said that he is travelling to atone for his sins, even though I think everyone in the village forgave him already.

Even though we obliterated each other's dominant arms, something interesting happened.

.

Flashback: Two years ago

"Both of your arms are healing quite quick so you will be discharged from the hospital soon enough." Sakura said to us. She was the one that treated the two of us the most along with Granny Tsunade.

After saying that, she left the room leaving the two of us alone.

"Naruto." Sasuke spoke up first.

"Hm?"

"Could you check your left palm?" He asked. I was confused at first but obeyed either way. I looked at my left palm and it was my sun symbol.

"It's the sun symbol?"

"Yeah. And I have my moon symbol on my right hand." It was like he was thinking of something. I just didn't know what.

"That's normal, isn't it?" I was the one questioning this time.

"What? No. Your sun symbol is on your left palm and my moon symbol is on my right." I have to be honest, I knew I was stupid but damn was I really that dumb?

I was looking repeatedly at my palm and then at Sasuke's. He was definitely making an 'are-you-really-this-unobservant' face at this point. After a few seconds, it finally clicked.

"WAIT WHY IS THE SYMBOL ON MY LEFT AND YOURS IS ON YOUR RIGHT? DID IT MOVE? WHAT HAPPENED?" I jolted out of my sitting position and was now standing.

"*sigh*, you brain-dead loser." Sasuke facepalmed with a small smile.

"Oi, If I'm really a loser you would've killed me a few weeks ago." I retorted with a grin on my face.

"shut up."

.

Present day

Basically, the sun symbol that used to be on my right palm had moved to my left and the crescent moon symbol on Sasuke's left palm had moved to his right. I assumed that the sage knew we were going to annihilate each other's hands so he made a back-up plan to assure that we still had these symbols and the powers that it holds.
