4 || First Task: Final Selection

Naruto Uzumaki

"Everyone, we thank you for coming here tonight to the Demon Slayer Corps Final Selection." The children said. They seemed to be two other children of the master.

It took Sasuke and I about a few hours to arrive here, so it was already night time. The two children would then tell us things that we were already informed of: having to survive for seven days, how they are weak to wisteria trees, meaning they wouldn't be able to escape the mountain, and more. 

"21." Sasuke suddenly blurted out.

"What's 21?" I asked in confusion.

"There are 21 participants. We have to make sure the amount doesn't change when we go back here next week." Planning in advance, classic Sasuke.

"And now, be on your way." The two children ended their speech while bowing. The Final Selection has officially started.

Meanwhile

Third Person

"Go."

"Yes, Master."

"Nakime."

"As you wish."

*strum*

Both Naruto and Sasuke were killing demons left, right and center. At this point, they'd beheaded 10 demons each. All those kills were one-shots, as well.

"The first day's going quite well." Naruto said after slicing another demon.

"The demons here are really weak. It makes sense, though, since the master would want people to actually pass the test." Sasuke replied.

"I must say, I'm quite getting used to fighting with a sword." Naruto spoke again.

"Well, I have seen you use a sword before. I'm not really surpris-"

"AAAAAAHHH!"

Their conversation was abruptly cut off when a scream was heard. Naruto and Sasuke didn't say anymore words and just headed straight to the source of the noise.

As they got closer, they noticed something that was out of place.

"These are, obi?" Sasuke questioned as he saw the pink belts with a scale pattern around the area.

"Sasuke, look out!" A piece of the obi suddenly tried to attack from behind. Sasuke didn't realize it until Naruto called out. Thankfully, Naruto was able to kick it away before it hurt anyone.

"Be careful. These aren't actual obi. They're demons. I can sense evil intent coming from them." Naruto warned his friend.

"Oh? You two seem to be a little different." The obi finally revealed itself. Its eyes and mouth clearly moving from the belt that isn't actually made of fabric, and could easily intimidate people just by a single glance. Unfortunately for the demon, that wasn't the case this time.

"holy crap, that is the most disgusting thing i've ever seen."

"i know. if i had my sharingan activated right now, i would pass out just by how ugly it is."

"SHUT UP! I'm a beautiful creature! And I despise ugly people like you! Which is why, I'll kill you right now!"

"damn. if that's the case you should just commit."

"I SAID SHUT THE HELL UP!"

Fueled by rage, the pink belt started attacking unorderly. Pieces of the fabric were sliding toward the two people in front of it, trying its hardest to kill them. Unfortunately, luck was not on the demon's side. It doesn't know the true identity of the people it is fighting against right now.
