"If you don't mind, please tell us about yourselves."

That was it. The question we didn't want to hear. Sasuke and I wanted to plan this out, but we were forced to stop when Rengoku noticed our presence back outside. Both Sasuke and I were quickly trying to think of something.
My mind was blank, only being filled by the sounds of rain from the opened door to my right; that was the reason we came into the house in the first place. Fortunately, Sasuke came up with an answer.
"We are simply travelers from the other side of the country." He said in response to the question.
'Really? That's all?' I thought to myself while keeping a straight face.
"Hm, is that so?" The master replied.
"Wait!" One of the pillars sounded. It was Tengen Uzui.
"Sorry for interrupting but, didn't you say you two are shinobi?"That was a hard hit. Sasuke didn't seem to have an answer for this one. Thankfully, I did.
"Were." I said while doing a sad smile.
"Oh. What happened?" This time, the master was the one asking again. Sasuke still didn't seem to have a grasp of what my plan was, so I answered again in hopes of him being able to butt in to the story.
"We come from different clans, as per our family names being different. My clan became nearly extinct at the exact day of my birth. On that day, a swarm of demons broke in to our clan district and attacked us. There were so many to the point that my then-guardian and sensei said that they outnumbered the whole Uzumaki clan. I was able to survive because my dad took me to the guardian I just talked about. He lived quite far from that district so I was safe there. Unfortunately, my dad went back to the scene in hopes of protecting the district and other innocent people in the area. They were able to keep minimum damage to all the ordinary civilians, but none of our members made it. As far as I know, I am the sole survivor of the Uzumaki clan."
Do you think that story seems somewhat familiar? If you think so, then you would be correct. I created my made-up story based of my own life story. My parents dying at the same time I was born, the Uzumaki clan being destroyed, and how Dad protected the village. The main difference is that I called the demon as our cause instead, even though I've never actually seen them before.
It was silent for a split second before the master spoke again.
"I see. If that's the case, does that mean you've never truly met your parents before?"
"Yes."
"I understand." He said with his gentle smile. His smile makes my heart calm every time I see it. Not only that, his voice is also so relaxing to listen. Although, I do think his voice seems somewhat... familiar.
"What about you, Sasuke?"'You got this, Sasuke!' I said in my mind while facing him. He seemed to read my mind as he smiled a little bit when he looked at me.
"My story is also quite similar to Naruto's. The Uchiha clan almost went extinct, albeit years after the Uzumaki clan did. The main difference, though, it wasn't because of demons. The clan leaders had disagreements with each other. The problems only rose and rose as time passed until a civil war finally started. As I was still young, and the youngest of the clan at that time, my family hid me in a secret bunker. My father, mother, and elder brother all participated in the war. I, however, was too innocent to fight a war of any sort, much less a war where you fight your own family members. All I heard in that bunker were clashes of blades, weapons, and bodies to what felt like no end. Finally, after days, the noises stopped. I came out of the room to check the situation. The war had ended, but I wasn't necessarily happy about it. Everywhere I went, there were lifeless bodies on the ground. The fact that I recognized all of them only made it worse."
