18 || Homecoming

Naruto Uzumaki

"Now that we've defeated Muzan, I guess you'll be disbanding the corps?" Sasuke questioned.

It was now the next day after the final fight against Muzan. Sasuke and I were currently having a chat with the master in his humble abode about the aftermaths of the battle.

"Yes, I will. But, I want to have a last Pillar meeting before I do, and announce the disbandment then." He answered.

"How are the other swordsmen, Master?" I asked.

"The most that they suffer are only minor injuries. None of the slayers have life-threatening wounds and most importantly, nobody died yesterday either."

"That's relieving." Sasuke answered for the both of us.

"Yes, and since there aren't any serious treatment being done, you two can pay anybody in the Butterfly Estate a visit." The master explained.

"Ah! We should do that, Sasuke!" I suggested.

"Yeah. Mainly Tanjiro and his friends, and also a few of the Pillars."

"If that's what you plan to do, then you two can go." Master said.
"Although before you do." He suddenly continued.

"Hm?"

"Please don't go back to your place too soon. I plan on making a little event with the whole Demon Slayer Corps in three days." He explained.

"Oh. Don't worry, Master. We aren't going anywhere for the time being." Naruto replied with a smile.

Third Person

Naruto and Sasuke quickly said their 'thank you' to Kagaya and headed to the Insect Pillar's house. While walking to their destination, the Uzumaki started a conversation.

"Now that we're done here, when should we go home? Super Gramps did say we can go back to the Leaf anytime we want."

"I don't think there's any need to rush. We could probably go home in a week's time, enjoy our stay here in this world, now that the demons have been fully exterminated." Sasuke replied.

"True. Kakashi Sensei and the others should be okay back at the village." Naruto added.

"Yeah." Sasuke said before continuing.
"We're here."

They arrived at the front door of the Butterfly Estate. Sasuke was about to open the door when he stopped himself and then knocked, instead.

A few moments later and the door was slid open by a little girl wearing a white outfit and a red belt.

"Ah! Naruto and Sasuke! Welcome! Is there anything I can help you with?" Said the girl with her high-pitched voice.

"Hello, Kiyo! We just came to visit." Naruto responded.

"Oh! Is there anyone you'd like to see specifically?"

"Tanjiro and his friends."

"Umm... I think Tanjiro and the others are in the room at the very edge of the estate." Kiyo said, unsurely, while pointing into the house.
"I don't actually remember, though. If I'm wrong, you can ask Big Sister Aoi!"

"I see. Thanks, Kiyo!" Naruto walked into the estate. But before he did, he gave the girl a headpat which was then followed by Sasuke's. Somehow, Kiyo's mood got even better after receiving them.

The two walked further into the estate, following Kiyo's direction of going to the room at the furthest corner. They finally made it to the door. Without even trying to listen carefully, they could tell that the room was very loud.
