Hope POV

"Jo... say something" I said

She sighed and held me tightly.

"We are going to get through this" Josie says

"I know... I just wanted to hear you say that" I said

"You should get home.. you have a big game tomorrow and you can't stay up and miss out on a game when everything here is being handled." Josie says

"Yeah you're right" I said

"I know I am" she says with a smile.

"Now get up" she says before she stood up.

I then stood up and she pulled me in like a spin and connected my lips to hers.

It was the type of kiss that seems like it last forever but it was only for a few seconds. I know my lips were salty from all that crying but hers... it tasted like strawberry chap stick. Her lips were so soft and don't get me started on her tongue.

I had moved my hands to hold her waist softly and that's when we heard a voice clear their throats.

When I turned to look over at the person I saw Caroline and Lizzie.

Josie buried her face into my shoulder from embarrassment.

"I will see you later" Josie whispered

"You can't, unless you are coming to my game" I said

"I am and I will have my 'I heart hope' shirt on" she says as she looked into my eyes.

I couldn't tell if she was joking or not.

"Can't wait to see you then" I said before kissing her cheek and heading to the door.

"Have a good night ladies" I said before leaving out and heading home.

Josie POV

"'She's just a good friend' yeah okay" Lizzie says

I just rolled my eyes and went to lay on the bed.

"So you never really told me much about you and hope" My mom says

"It's nothing mom. We are just friends" I said

"Sure you are sweetheart" my mom says

"Didn't you hate her guts and now you want your finger in her guts? Interesting" Lizzie says

"LIZZIE!" My mom yelled

"I'm only speaking the truth" Lizzie says

"Since we are doing that then why don't we tell mom all about you and Milton" I said

"Milton?" My mom asked

"Yup, her boyfriend- I mean ex boyfriend... sorry for the mix up" I said before she gave me a sarcastic smile.

"Why did you guys break up?" My mom asked

"That's a long story" Lizzie says

"Yeah, but it could be solved in one word, I'll give you a hint mom.. it starts with an 'E' and ends with an 'than'"
I said with a smirk

"That's it" Lizzie says before she started attacking me.

I miss this... well besides her trying to kill me but I miss girl talk and hanging out with my mom.

"Enough girls! Time to head to bed" my mom says

That saying never changed.

"Okay before we go to bed I must ask... when do we get to meet Bonnie? Like for real this time?" Lizzie asked
