Hope POV

"What?" I asked

"You heard me... and everyone else heard me I LOVE HOPE MIKAELSON!" She yelled.

Some people were recording and some were looking at her as if she was crazy.

"Josie let's talk somewhere private" I said before grabbing her hand and leading her into the door next to some random classroom.

"Josie what do you think you are doing?" I asked

"I'm basically proposing with the words 'I love you' you know I never said those words to anyone before" she says

"Am I suppose to be thankful?" I asked

"No- what? I was just saying that you are special to me and you make me a better person Hope.. I really love you and I hope that you can forgive me" she says

"How long has it been going on?" I asked

"How long has what been going on?" She asked

"You and maya? How long have y'all been secretly seeing each other?"  I asked

That's when the bell rung.

I still didn't go to class because I really wanted to know was I wasting my time with Josie or not.

"It was before you... and it's nothing we just had sex a few times in the summer. Soon as I knew I had feelings for you I had called it off" she says

"And when maya asked you to kiss her what did you do?" I asked

"I knew it! I was right..." she says

"What are you talking about?" I asked

"Nothing... umm.. we didn't kiss I had told her that I didn't want to kiss her because I love you and only you... Hope I never felt like this for anyone ever in my life" she says

"I love you too josie... hell I'm in love with you.. but- but I don't know if I can be with you" I said

"I- I don't understand" Josie says as I tear left her eye.

"I fought for you and you treated me like shit hell I know you didn't tell me to but I made sure your dad didn't hurt and even if you didn't ask for it, I made sure you were safe, and when I looked at you on the stands I saw you smiling at me and it was the best thing ever. I planned a whole life for us just right there.. and I won because of your luck.. but I don't think I can forgive you for kissing me and knowing that you and my bestfriend had something going on" I rambled with tears feeling my eyes.

"You led me on and made me feel loved to Stab me in the back" I say.. "and I hate you for that" I said

I couldn't look at her because I would feel so much guilt that I would kill my own self.

"I have to go" I said before walking off passed her.

I know this may be confusing but I can't just let her easily back in my life... not when I worked so hard and she just thinks a fucking apology would work on me? I mean I know I'm worth just words.

I need her to at least provide to me, other than that I don't think I can be with her.

Josie POV

Hope left me in tears in front of some class and to be honest I did deserve that and yeah I deserve everything that happens to me but this hurts so much more than anything else.

I'm not going to give up on her though, she never stopped helping me when I needed so no... I would never stop helping her and I would stick by her side for whatever.

I wiped my tears.

I sniffled a bit and I headed to class.

I'm going to have to put on a smile for today and I could cry later.

The day has been boring as usual and I didn't know what to do with my life.

When I walked out of the school I saw Hope sitting on a car.

"When did you get a car?" I asked

"I brought it 2 hours ago" she says not staring at me.

"Why are you back at school if you skipped?" I asked

"I'm here to pick someone up" Hope says

"And who the hell are you picking up?" I asked

"That's not really your business" Hope says

"I know you are mad at me but don't go around trying to get with other people, I know you have every right to but getting even and doing what's right is two different things" I said

"It's okay princess, I'm not you.. I won't go fucking your bestfriend and lying to you... if I was going to go it anyways I would have told you" she says this time looking me in my eyes.

"I'm going out for the day, so tell mom I would be home later" Lizzie says as she ran out of the school.

That's when Lizzie made her way to hopes car.

"What the fuck is going on here?" I asked

"I'll explain later" Lizzie says before her and Hope got in the car.

Is she trying to get back at me?

Hope POV

"You better have a good reason for having me look like some rebound" Lizzie says

"Okay first off eww, that's disgusting, I would rather date your mom.. I mean she is pretty hot but that's not why you are here" I said

"Eww, gross! What the fuck do you want and why are you using me to make my sister jealous?" She asked

"I'm not trying to make her jealous I just need your help and if making her jealous is a bonus then I'll take it" I said

"What do you need help with?" Lizzie asked

"Christmas is coming up and I still haven't gotten her a gift so you are going to tell me what she likes" I said

"Aren't you mad at her or something?" Lizzie asked

"But my love for her cancels out my angry so just tell me what she likes" I said
