Seventeen

Hope POV

I have been in my bed for a total of 34 hours... About 3 days and I didn't get up once... not even to use the bathroom.

I didn't eat at all and I didn't look at my phone.

I just stared at the ceiling and my four walls.

How could I be so stupid?

'Don't get attached'

'Stay away from her'

Maya only told me that because she likes Josie hell she is probably in love with her and I don't want to be anywhere near them.

"Hope! You have to eat!" My mom says

"I'll eat when you say I can live with my aunt freya" I said

"Your going to eat whether I say yes or not" she says

I groaned.

I am hungry but then at the same time I'm not.

My mom walked in my room.

"I'm surprised.. your room is so clean... smells like garage but it's so clean" my mom says

"I smell like garage.. I actually think it's time I took a shower... seeing as I do want to look my best for tomorrow" i said

"Great... eat this food first" my mom says

I nodded my head and walked over to the food she had made.

It looked so good.

"Thanks mom" I said

She kissed my forehead.

"Oh and maya stopped by and said she needed to talk to you but you were sleep so I told her to come back later". My mom says

"I don't ever want to see or hear from her again" I said

"What's going on with you and maya? I thought you guys were best buddies until the end" my mom says

"Best buddies don't sabotage their friends relationships" I said

"So maya is the one you caught with Josie?" My mom asked

I didn't reply I just took another bite of my food.

"Okay, well you should get washed up and I will start making some dinner" my mom says

"Okay" I said before putting my food down and setting out my clothes.

Josie POV

I have been calling hopes phone none stop and she hasn't answered.

My mom had won the case over against my dad and my dad should he put behind bars after his sentencing this Friday.

Thanks to hope.

My mom even found a house down here that would be ready by this Tuesday.

That way we don't have to move.

"Hey jo, have you heard from Hope?" Lizzie asked

"Not yet. I know why she's mad but if she just lets me explain then this can all be cleared up" I said

"Explain what?" Lizzie asked

"I have been having on and off sex with maya every since the summer and then there were no feelings attached but then maya started having feelings for me and I wasn't into the whole I relationship thing until I met Hope and she's the only one that I would settle down for" I rambled

"So what's going on with you and maya now?"Lizzie asked

"Nothing. There is absolutely nothing going on with us but Hope must had over heard me and maya conversation and now she probably thinks we kissed" I said

"Why would she think y'all kissed?"
She asked as I looked down at my fingers.

"JOSIE! Why does she think y'all kissed?" Lizzie asked again.

"Because maya asked me to kiss her and Hope must have ran away at that point because I told her no. I told her that I wanted to be with Hope and I told her that I love hope.  She understood and backed off" I said

"Back that up... you love hope? Like the l. o. v. e. Type of love or the l.u.v?" Lizzie asked

"Are you seriously asking me this right now?" I asked

"I just wanted to know considering you never in your life said those words to anyone hell you barely even said it to mom.. last time I heard those words come from your mouth was when we were 7" Lizzie says

"Well I do love her like a lot... the only problem is she already hates me and I don't even think I would ever get to speak to her" I said

"She doesn't hate you... I know she doesn't" Lizzie says

"Did you hear those words come out her mouth?" I asked

"Did you hear her say she hates you?" Lizzie asked

"No." I said

"Well then she doesn't... we just need to find a way to get you to talk to her"
Lizzie says

"What got you in this mood?" I asked

"Well, I'm kind of trying to become a better person seeing my history" Lizzie says

"That's good for you liz, but I want to handle this on my own.." I said

"Well I'm always here to help" she says

"I know" I said

She just smiled.

"JOSIE! SOMEONE IS HERE FOR YOU!" My mom called me downstairs.

I ran as fast as I could.

When I got downstairs it wasn't Hope but it was maya.

"What do you want?" I asked her

"I think maybe I should take the blame so she wouldn't be mad at you" maya says

"Even though it's entirely your fault... I can't let you do that" I said

"Why not" she says

"Because I love hope too much to see her lose her only friends... besides.. if having friends by her side makes her happy then I would gladly step aside and keep my distance" I said

"You don't need to do all of that.. hopes like the truth so we tell her just that" maya says

Hope POV

It was the next day aka Monday and I already know life is hell and I'm going to have to through today with the thoughts of seeing Josie with maya.

I mean I love them both... Maya in a friendly way and Josie in a not so friendly way but more than that, and  I can't stand to see them together, it's going to be hard.

"Hey hope!" Said one of the cheerleaders

"Hey Mia" I said

"What's up with you?" She asked

"The usual.. horny and drained" I mean that wasn't entirely a lie.

All this angry makes me tired but thinking about Josie makes me horny.

My body flows weird.

"Well I can only help with one of those" Mia says with an smirk

"How about you work on those cheers that you messed up terribly and stop trying to hit on what's mine!" Josie said coming from behind me.

Great. Just great.

"I'm not yours" I said before walking away.

She caught up to me no matter how fast I tried to walk.

"Leave me alone jo" I said as we turned the corner.

"Not until you talk to me!" Josie says

I just kept walking.

I looked over to see she stopped walking.

"HOPE, I LOVE YOU!" She blurted out in a scream directing it to me.

When I tell you everyone heard that I mean everyone.
