Hope POV

Before Josie arrived.

"Okay hope, I convinced your mom but that means you can't see Josie tomorrow" my aunt bex says

"Well then no deal.. I have to give josie her present tomorrow" I said

"Hope. If you want to see her then make the deal" my aunt bex says

"I rather see her tomorrow" I said

My aunt bex sighed and then left out my room.

Soon my mom came storming in my room.

"Hope Andrea mikaelson!" My mom says in a yell

"Mom." I said as I made my way to my bed.

"Get your ass down stairs and try to have some fun with your family!" She yells

She never yelled at me.

"If Josie can come over then sure" I said

"I'm not going to make a deal with you hope. I'm your mother and I told you to wait a week! You know what a week is? 7 whole days!" She says

"Mmm, well then when those 7 days are up then I will go down stairs." I said

"Why are you acting like this? I bet it has something to do with Josie... she's a bad influence on you hope." She says

That when my father waltzed in the room.

"Both of you enough. You two are loud as it is but why on Christmas Eve?" My father asked

"All I wanted was Josie to come over and mom is making it something big" I said

"I told you she can't come over and that's final. Right klaus?" My mom asked my dad.

"Why can't she have Josie over? It's Christmas Eve for god sakes." My dad says

"Don't do that!" My mom says

"Do what?" My dad asked

"Make me seem like that bad parent while you seem like the good Ike fun dad" my mom argues with my dad.

"I'm not sweetheart. I just think differently from you." My dad says

My mom rolled her eyes and walked out of the room.

"Invite Josie over, I will go talk with your mother" my father says before winking at me and leaving.

Now.

"So my mom isn't a big fan of us dating but she will get use to it seeing as she has to" I said as I walked in the house.

"I don't have to do anything I don't want to do!" My mom yelled from the kitchen.

"Don't worry about her" I said

Josie just nodded.

"There's my future niece in law!" My aunt bex says to Josie before she brought her into a big hug.

"Me next!" Called my pregnant aunt Davina who could barely get out of her chair.

My aunt keelin had to help her up.

"Hope you like hugs because I'm a hugger" my aunt freya says before hugging Josie right after aunt davina.

"That's enough, you are going to kill my girlfriend!" I said dramatically.

"Don't be dramatic darling. This one is the first you ever brought home you should be happy we aren't making her a custom mikaelson necklace" my uncle kol asked

I got a little embarrassed but Josie just looked at me with a comforting smile.

"It's wonderful to see you all, I'm not use to a whole family thing so it means the world to be here" Josie says

"What is Josie short for?" Said my uncle Elijah

He had been quiet most of the time.

"Umm, Josette. I'm names after my birth mom" Josie says

I never knew that Josie was adopted.

She looked at me and seen that I was confused.

"My mom couldn't have kids so she found this women who had a unplanned pregnancy and that was going to give me and my twin sister up but lucky my mom had adopted me as soon as I was born." Josie says

"I'm sorry to hear that Josette." My uncle Elijah says

She hadn't even told me that story.

I love how she is getting closer with my family already.

"Don't worry about me. I want to hear all about you guys and what you do for a living" Josie says

I was about to say some freaky come back to that but I'm in the room with my family members and I'm already on thin ice.

"Well, I work for the fashion design.. it's the mikaelson fashion line" my aunt bex says

"Ohh, I know that fashion line.. my sister buys your clothes all the time" Josie says

"Well tell her to give me a call and I will give her 50% off every clothing item for life" my aunt bex says

"I'm sure she would be delighted to take your offer" Josie says

The night was going great.

My Mom even started being nice too her because they had so much in common.

I mean they both love me what more do they need in common but it went so well.

"Okay josie, I need you to teach me how you make those Japanese egg rolls" my mom said to Josie.

"Im coming mrs. Marshall- mikaelson" Josie says as she got up from cuddling into my side on the couch.

"Please. Call me Hayley" my mom said

I thought I would never say this but my Mom is seeing a bit too faced today.

Josie POV

When I entered the kitchen I washed my hands.

"Are you having fun?" Hayley asked

"Yes, you have a really nice home mrs-
Hayley." I said

"Why thank you. I know you must of heard what I said about you and I'm sorry for judging you, you seem like a very nice girl... it's just hope is my only child and I don't want to lose her or anything bad to happen to her" Hayley admits.

"I understand and I promise to not hurt her at all" I said

"I believe you" she says with a comforting smile.

"I'm really glad you don't hate me." I said shyly.

"I never hated you dear, now come and give me a proper hug" she says before pulling me into a hug.

I was on the verge of crying because I wasn't use to this much attention.
