Chapter 15

2 weeks later –SERENA'S POV

It's been two weeks and no progress on Nate's condition. I went crazy, I was with him every time. The doctor said Nate would wake up only if he wanted to. It was up to him to wake up.

"Nate please come back" I said as I held his hand and kissed it.

I was lost in my thought as I laid my head on Nate's thighs. I missed him terribly, I had decided if he wakes up, and rejects me again. I would leave him alone. All I needed was to see him alive.

I suddenly felt a hand caressing my hair. I thought I was dreaming. I jerked upwards and turn to face Nate whose eyes were opened. He smiled at me. Nate? He was awake. OMG.

"Nate..Nateeee" I said surprised. I bent down and hugged him so tightly.

"I am glad you are awake" I didn't wanna let him go.

"S-er-e-na.." he finally said as I broke from the hug. His voice was dry and he spoke with a lot of difficulty.

"Nate my love" I kissed his fore head. "How are you feeling, do you feel any pain?" I asked him with a lot of concern. He nodded a no. I felt relief wash over me.

"Oh thanks God." I pressed the intercom calling the doctor.

His parents and my parent had gone home to refresh leaving me with Nate. I had forgiven them for hiding the truth from me. They promised not to do that again.

The doctor came and checked on him.

"His vital organs are okay. Let's hope for a speedy recovery" he said. I thanked him and he left.

I looked at him, he was quiet and I was scared of his reaction. Would he reject me again?

"Nate are you okay" I asked him.

"Leave" he said and I was shocked to hear that.

"What?" I asked him still processing that he had told me to leave him.

"Nate...we need to talk please, I am sorry" I pleaded as I went near him.

"I said leave. I don't want to see your filthy body. Leeeeave nooow" he screamed.

"Nate..."

"I said leave Serena, we are over remember?" he said.

"Okay" I said in tears and left the room. I bumped into Nate's parent on the door.

They all looked at me with a shock.

"Serena what happened?" they asked me.

"He chase me. He doesn't want me near him. He hates me" I cried.

Aunty Gareth eloped me into her arms. I cried on her shoulder as she patted my back. I was sobbing so hard. His father patted my shoulder "We will talk to him, he will come through" he said.

CHASE'S POV

All my paintings where checked and the last painting of Serena which was forged my signature. It was proven that, the sign on the painting was different from my signs of my other paintings.

"Please find this stupid painter. Check all the CCTV footage" I said to my lawyer Jones Acosta.

He nodded and said "We already have a face, just soon we will have him arrested. It seems he is hiding" he said and I nodded.

"I will see you soon for more update" I said and he hanged off the phone.

I was bailed out of jail after they realized that I wasn't the one who painted it.
