You Again

This Is Not A Date

Nessa sat on her couch as New Girl played on the tv, she was lounging in her favorite Spongebob Squarepants pajamas with a bowl of popcorn on her lap. 

Suddenly, there were loud knocks on her door. She sighed as she got up and walked towards the door. 

"Young, we don't get all day. Hurry up and answer the door." A voice said through the door.

"Why are you here?" Nessa asked, her eyebrow raised.

"Just open the door." 

She let out loud groan and opened the door to a smirking Eric. 

"Mornin' ugly." He placed a hand over her face, pushing Nessa back as he walked over to the living room. 

Nessa gripped onto the door as she stumbled backward, she glared at the back of Eric's head as she stood up straight. 

"What do you want, Hamilton?" She asked as she slammed the door shut. 

Eric fell onto her couch, his eyes on the tv. "Remember we have a date?" 

Nessa laughed loudly with sarcasm. "A date with you?" She let out a loud snort to her fake laugh and pretended to wipe a tear. "Not in a billion years." 

He looked over at her and gave her a funny look. "It's not like I want to go a date with you either, Young. It's for Lil and Will." 

She grew quiet as she remembered that Lil and Will wanted them to go on a "date" so they could get used to each other. A loud groan left her lips. "Crap." 

"So, get ready. We're leaving in 15 minutes." 

"Let's go." Nessa walked out of her bedroom, a tired look on her face. She was wearing blue jean shorts with an oversized light white v-neck shirt that was half tucked in on the front of her shorts, and her feet were in white converse. Her brown locks were in a messy french braid, and only minimal makeup was on her naturally beautiful face.    

"Finally!" Eric exclaimed as he got up from the couch and picked up the remote control to turn the tv off. 

They both made their way to the door with Eric leaving first and Nessa close behind him, she turned to lock the door.

"Goodmorning Nessa." She heard a voice greet; her heart fluttered as the familiar voice greeted her.

It was Aaron; he lived a couple of doors away from Nessa. She's always had a tiny crush on him; he was kind and charming towards her and everyone else. He was also extremely good looking with his dark brown hair that seemed always to look perfect, his chiseled jawline and alluring dark eyes. 

Nessa quickly turned around and grinned. "Hi, Aaron." 

Eric cocked an eyebrow as he looked at the blushing Nessa. 

Aaron looked over at Eric and gave him a welcoming smile. "Hi, I'm Aaron." He greeted, bringing out his hand. 

He smiled back and took his hand in his, shaking it firmly. "I'm Eric." 

Aaron nodded and let go of his hand, his gaze falling back on Nessa. "Where you headed to?" 

Nessa was about to answer when Eric threw an arm over her shoulder. "I'm just dropping her off to the gynecologist." 

Aaron's eyes grew big so did Nessa's. 

Eric took his arm off of Nessa's shoulder. "She's been getting a lot of warts and all that nasty stuff down there."

"Oh," Aaron answered, he looked like he was ready to leave.

Nessa stood there speechless, and she couldn't believe Eric was doing this to her.
