SHATTERED
"No! No! No!" I said while shaking my head, I got up from the ground and sat on my knees and held the left out pieces of the stone, tried to fix them back but it was of no use, it had no light anymore, they were just pieces of normal stones now. The surrounding turned so cold all of a sudden, I shivered.
Baekhyun reached Jimin within seconds, grabbed his throat and strangling him down while showing his sharp fangs to him, eyes turning dark crimson red.
"What the fuck you did?!" Baekhyun asked and Jimin tried to breath and tried to break through Baekhyun's grip from his throat but it's of no use, if Baekhyun wanted Jimin dead, he would have been by now.
"Tell me, you were the guardian of the stone, weren't you? Tell me or I might snap your head off" Baekhyun shouted in Jimin's face and Jimin's face turning red and blue.
Chanyeol got up and grabbed Baekhyun's waist and pulled him off Jimin, "Baekhyun calm the fuck down! You will kill him"
"The stone of light is destroyed, our last hope crumbled into pieces with the stone itself and here you are telling me to calm down?" Baekhyun screamed and tried to get out of Chanyeol grip to reach Jimin again but Chanyeol held him tightly.
"Jimin! Why!" I asked holding the remaining pieces of stone, my eyes are tearing and head is spinning, "Who even are you?"
"He is a light fairy" Baekhyun said a bit calm than before so Chanyeol let go, "Years ago when I last visited this place, I heard that there is a Light fairy guarding the stone of light but couldn't be found."
"So, my best friend is a fairy! " I said looking at Jimin, then I felt it, the betrayal. I chuckled maybe due to happiness of finding my friend is actually my fairy godmother or maybe this is just what they call reaching insanity.
"You knew about the stones! Everything! Everything that's happening around us, you knew it all along." Tears going down my face even though I'm laughing. "When I used to tell you dreaming about those stones you told me it's all bullshit"
"I'm sorry Tae!" Jimin said while sobbing.
"You are sorry?" I screamed "How would you feel when your best friend who you used to hang out all the fucking time turns out to be something else?"
"Believe me I don't know what's happening! All I remember is he chopped off my wings and pushed me off the northern mountains after that everything is a blur." Jimin sobbed louder and hugged his knees. "I don't even know who I am myself! Sometimes I feel like my own body is in someone's else control."
"Who pushed you and how can you expect me to believe you after this?" I said. Jungkook sighed and said "Perhaps it can be true, maybe he really doesn't know anything."
"Hun?"
"He is under Min Yoongi's spell." said Jungkook. "Yoongi knows how to control others mind and get his ways with them."
"So you mean to say, Yoongi? As in the Lord kept an eye on our every move through Jimin?" Chanyeol asked and sighed in defeat.
"Fuck! it was his plan all along! He knew that we will be looking for the stone of light, we are doomed." Baekhyun said while ruffling his hair.
"We failed! Nothing can stop him from conquering the world now"
An image of vampire running around freely having flesh and bones of human in their mouth passed through my mind and a chill went down my spine. "Isn't there any way to retrieve the stone?"
"Perhaps Oracle could help to figure out a solution." Chanyeol said. "We should go back to Jin"
"Chanyeol is right, we should ask Jin." Jungkook said and offered me a hand to get up, "Come on we shouldn't give up just yet."
"What we should do about him, the lord will be following us through him" Chanyeol said while looking at Jimin's direction.
"Kill me! I am nothing without my wings anyway" Jimin said sniffing and eyes teary.
"Can't leave him here, we will figure it out what to do about him at the temple" Baekhyun said. With that we all got out of the cave and found Chill and gloomy all around, neither the sun nor the Fairies which were there a while ago nowhere to be seen.
"It's the effect of the light stone, since it's destroyed" Baekhyun said. "We must hurry, and need to be more careful those vampires can show up from anywhere."
...
We managed to come back to the Iceland, a little further more we have to walk in order to reach the portal through which we could go to the temple but the thunderstorm has taken place, and it's making it difficult to walk further.
Just me Jimin and Jungkook are feeling the cold since Baekhyun and Chanyeol has no effect of cold on their skins, still the thunderstorm ain't letting us to find the right way. After walking for what felt like years we reached a cave and went inside to seek shelter from the thunderstorm.
"I don't think we would be able to go further, we need to wait for the thunderstorm to clear"
Chanyeol and Baekhyun went outside and brought some wood, Jungkook lit the wood with the help of a lighter and came beside me and settled himself.
"Still cold?" He asked. I nodded letting out a cold breath, he kept his hand on mine, and the warmth of his hand went through my skin. I sighed feeling too exhausted and kept my head on his shoulder and closed my eyes, and sleep took over.
The dawn came and I kept blinking for my vision to get clear and found myself in Jungkook's arm, he is still asleep while holding me. Heard the voice of iron, Chanyeol was sharpening his sword while Baekhyun was sitting beside the extinguished fire looking outside of the cave. Everyone was there except-
"Jimin?" I let out before my mind could, "Where is Jimin?" With that Jungkook woke up too.
"Wasn't he with us last night?" Jungkook asked still looking sleepy.
"I think it's for the better that he isn't with us for now since Yoongi is using him to get to us. We should better talk to Oracle first before we go and search for him in nowhere."
Baekhyun said.
"But-!"
"Right, infact we don't know that he is been found by the vampires or just lost while the thunderstorm." Chanyeol said. "Let's go to the temple then we will look for him"
Me and Jungkook sighed, We got out of the cave and walked to the portal and jumped into it.
